If I could give a 0 I would. This place is not worth the money it was built with! Began staying weekly here at the Snooz Inn. The first week we got put into a room that was severely dirty and unsafe. Multiple connections in a single wall socket, that was NOT code, it did not have and outlet cover and the extension that was plugged in was extremely old, outdated and NOT up to code. The carpets were filthy down to the pad underneath, (had to clean up some dry noodles I spilt, and just touching the floor with a dry white towel, it turned the towel a brown/yellow color!). Even though the room was marked 'NO SMOKING', the walls were yellow and had a thin covering of dirt from the floor to the ceiling. The maids did not clean the rooms properly, mold is growing in-between the tiles in the shower all the way up the walls! After complaining about our room condition that we had stayed in, they gave us another room on the backside of the building. It was cleaner and more updated(SAFER) light fixtures. But - although this room was cleaner- it still had dirty, hazardous problems. The wall next to the bed looked like someone spilt soda down it and it was never cleaned, along with miscellaneous dirt and possible blood/other foreign liquids were stained on the walls throughout! I HAVE PICTURE OF CONDITIONS IN BOTH ROOMS. The floor in the bathroom had what looked to be blood blotted on the floor, and the outlet the TV was plugged into had an extremely outdated power surge protecters (UNSAFE) that were being overused, and there was NO outlet covering on the outlet the surge was plugged into(FIRE HAZARD). The rug outside was screwed into the base of the door outside the room, and it smelled like mildew and looked like it hadn't been washed in years .The owner, Jong Kim, is not only unprofessional but she does NOT run a good business. On top of not cleaning properly, the maids do not fulfill requests for services, and when you give them towels - expect them not to come back for hours or at all. The owner, along with another employee/(maybe) owner, could not decide on a rate to charge us and began to argue in Korean with the employee to the point that they began yelling at each other and I left the office extremely uncomfortable. All the employees will say one rate, then charge you another. I have multiple receipts showing I payed a certain rate, but when you get another employee they charge you more. Upon arriving the first night, my husband (African American) came the following day and went to add himself to the room. The owner was extremely rude to him, and later down the line told him that she didn't want him staying there - citing complaints from neighbors and maids. Spoke to neighbors - none had complained and the maid had no issues with us or our room. A day later, she tells my husband "not to cause any trouble". How would he? We both work 9-5 M-F jobs, and she's treating my husband like he is dealing drugs! The owner is unprofessional, racist, and untrustworthy as she stated to our faces "I am the owner, I have key and can come into room whenever I want", and as we have everything kept in our rooms (important paperwork, birth certificates, banking information), she made our stay extremely uncomfortable and expensive by constantly changing the rates she charges. DO not say here, there is a Quality Inn down the way - run there and don't give your money to this racist,...
Read moreI haven't been here in a few years... It was always semi ran down and cheap, musty rooms, etc. But it wasn't extremely spendy like everything else in Wilsonville. So while visiting family, I chose to rent a room here. The new staff are AMAZING. But the owner, Kim Jong, is a pain in the ass, for lack of better wording!!
I have a 3 year old Daughter. She had a minor accident on the bed. It soaked through just very barely. She was afraid to use the bathroom, due to there only being one light in the bathroom that the fan was so loud and annoying it scared the pee out of her, before she could even get there, and the space was so tight she had to close the door to get on the toilet and she was too scared to do so. I had been staying there since September 9th, only had one more day to go!! I spoke to her, after multiple days of her coming to my room at random times and banging on the door, then pushing her way in, or unlocking the door while I'm in the bathroom, to "look around", because I wanted my privacy and asked not to have room service bother me, as my child was still asleep. Every day I paid another day, she would say "when are you leaving", as if she didn't want my business... She even referred to my child as "that black baby". Not okay!!! The day after my daughter's accident, she forced me to checkout and check back in, which is against the law for hotels to do. She charged me new check-in prices, which is $20 difference, and tried to over charge me multiple other times but I called her on it. Then my daughter's dad came to visit in the afternoon and she charged me more because he came over. She told me the beds were brand new, even though they were so worn out it caused me major back and neck pains. She demanded the tiny accident you couldn't even detect, because I had cleaned it, be replaced with brand new $800 beds (only one was peed on) or I leave, 5 minutes after double charging for my daughter's dad being here. She refused to refund me, aggressively threatened me, her dad, and my child telling her she is a "pee pee baby, bad baby, you pee on my beds" making her cry and repeating it to me for the next two days!!! I couldn't believe the treatment. 4 of her employees apologized for her and told me they would vouch if police showed up.
On top of that, she stalks her visitors until 1AM. The rooms are tiny. Full beds, but charge you for a Queen. Flies overwhelmingly swarm your room like something dead is in there. Amongst the spider bites we recieved and other unlivable conditions!!
I've never been treated so wrongly. She is out to get your money, but dislikes providing the motel services. I would not recommend if I...
Read moreIf I could give this a negative rating I would. DON'T STAY HERE! If this is the last vacant hotel, motel, or inn in the area I would say keep driving just go far, far away. The staff primarily is very unpleasant. The rooms are very basic and dirty with stray hairs everywhere, sweat smelling pillows that have no pillow protectors under the cases, blood stained and unknown stained comforter, dirty carpet (don't walk barefoot), moldy shower curtains the list could go on.. If you need help from the front desk you are certainly barking up the wrong tree. Annie will refuse to help but will offer false promises. None of the staff normally working has any authority to preform normal things like a room switch when things are broken or reimbursement when you've had a terrible stay waking up in the Am with back pain due to a broken bed. The maintenence guy who was new and the only decent person working there confirmed our bed indeed was broken and bent in the middle causing the what I like to call the human taco effect where you roll to the middle and when trying to get out its like climbing a hill on your side. When receiving no help from Annie not even the call back we were promised from the "manager", we decided to stop back by upon doing so we met the "manager" who just so happened to be the owner Jong Kim. I had to fill her in on what happened like nothing had been explained to her. Huge language barrier there and she just kept repeating random things that weren't prudent to the conversation. We then visited the room we were in She and Annie laid down on the bed which by sight has a visible dip in it while they were both laying on it and when they both get out of the bed one of the wheel legs falls right off. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. We then get back to the office she offered me a $10 dollar compensation which was less than the tax on our room so pretty much a slap in the face. We truly just wanted a different room. If you are wanting "amenities" things you may find are a smelly refrigerator, sticky smelly microwave, and maybe a loud working AC with two functions, and a ice machine that we were too afraid to use. No idea how this place is still open. There is a compairable priced Inn a few blocks away that's a thousand times better with...
