Let me start by saying that what I'm going to share with you was corrected by the manager. He not only responded, but took complete responsibility, offered no excuses and paid for our meal and one shared desert. He was available and did everything he could possibly do to make this situation better, and so did our server. I am primarily sharing this experience because it's what you do when you go places and review places, but more than anything to remind people to pay attention to their food and especially their children's food when they are not yet able to understand what they're looking for when it comes to food and food safety. Very, very important. This could have been catastrophic from the standpoint of getting ill if our guest had not been paying attention. Now onto our experience...

BTW, this unfortunately is the second time we've been here that we've had problems with the food. This day however was not something that was just a matter of, "not so great food", this was a matter of potentially someone's health and well-being.

Appetizers- I will update this later today. Stay tuned!

Meal #1- I'm going to come back and update this meal later today, stay tuned for the review on this meal.

Meal #2- was my meal. Prime Rib ordered medium rare, buttermilk mashed potatoes and asparagus. Food was cooked flavorful, however every single thing on my plate was stone cold, and I mean all the way back down to just out of the refrigerator cold, at the moment that they sat it at our table. My food had clearly come off the line long ahead of the other two meals, because there was absolutely no warmth in it at all. Flavors were there however, but very difficult to eat when it's stone cold, especially mashed potatoes, and especially when you're paying for the most expensive meal on the menu. It was a very expensive meal to be cold through and through.

Meal #3- One of their signature dishes, Traditional fried Chicken, buttermilk mashed potatoes and vegetables. So this meal was the BIGGEST FUBAR of the night... The chicken unfortunately was completely raw other than the breading, and I mean all the way to the bone raw and bleeding all over the entire plate once it was cut into. Absolute appetite killer for everyone at the table and also another interruption in what should have been a relaxing, yummy Friday night out. Not something that can be ignored on any level.

With all that being said, the manager, as I stated above, responded and took care of the problem to the very best of his ability. He did say our meal order came in right during shift change, which he again reiterated was no excuse for this to happen, but just so that we knew where the breakdown occurred and what he clearly needed to focus on going forward. I appreciated that. I actually appreciated everything he did throughout the situation, including paying for our entire meal and adding a shared dessert.

The truly unfortunate part is that we were going to dinner because it was the first time I was meeting my college aged daughter's boyfriend. My daughter handpicked this restaurant and it was just unfortunate that this is how that dinner went down. It made for a very difficult first meeting because everybody looked like a bunch of complainers, nitpickers and Karen's even though that was not the case at all. He was the one who unfortunately had the completely uncooked chicken and that was terribly unfortunate. Can't get that time back and can't replace first impressions unfortunately. Going to be a very long time before we go back in here, just for the sole purpose that it now has some pretty ugly connotations associated with it.

Please make sure you're paying close attention to your food when you are eating out and in particular to your children's food. Very, very important to know what's going in your bodies. Happy...

Having never been here and reading the reviews I was very excited. Ordered three different entrees which included the fish tacos, fried chicken and mashed potatoes and the prime rib pot pie. We also ordered two craft cocktails. What stole the show was the fried chicken and mashed potatoes with homemade gravy although the gravy was literally served cold. It was almost like the cook grabbed it to put it in a microwave, but forgot to do that process and then just dished it up into the Ramekin that came with the potatoes. I recognize that this was merely a mistake and the server quickly took care of it although it took a while. The chicken and potatoes are absolutely amazing. Lots of thought went into it.

The prime rib pot pie looked amazing when it came out. Although the filling actually was amazing and is obviously someone's recipe, the crust was very disappointing because it's basically bread. I was expecting a flaky buttery crust like Grandma use to make.

The fish tacos were probably the most disappointing of all the dishes we ordered. Very sloppy and the way they're setting that up it creates even a soggy tortilla. Also they're cutting the Cod in the wrong grain and they're also cooking it the wrong way because it was curled up and tough instead of flaky and melt in your mouth.

Having just went to Dosalis in Vancouver and a recent trip to Chicago as well, the craft cocktails were pretty disappointing and literally lacked any flavor or distinction.

So why the four stars, well it's because the service is impeccable and the chicken dish was absolutely amazing. I knew I was going to take the pot pie home because the crust was pretty bad, but I intended to recreate it at home. The manager walked up to our table and said why don't you take the whole dish home with you so you don't have to ruin it by putting it in a to-go box. I thought that level of service was amazing. As far as the cocktails maybe the managers need to venture out to say Dosalis and recreate the craft cocktails.

Will most likely return and try different items plus I need to return the container. Prices are...

Hello there. I wish I could put no stars. Last night, my father, a near death stoke survivor celebrated his 70th birthday at your restaurant. What was meant to be his one year survivor dinner, turned out to be the worst dinner we have had in at least 3 years. Your staff and waiters were so incredibly rude to my dad who is disabled. Took food from him while he was eating. Pressured us to hurry up and order. Told my brother Brian that we needed to get OUT by 6pm even though our reservation was for 4:45. We felt so stressed with all the dirty looks and rude remarks made by your staff. Sure, we were a party of 16 who made reservations. They should have been prepared instead of arguing with each other, giving us all the wrong meals and they made FOUR of our meals wrong.

My aunt and sister who hasn’t ate meat in 30 years ordered salads and both came with meat. When we sent the salads back, they returned with chicken under the salad. They expressed to us they only picked the chicken and steak off each salad. They did not bring them new plates of food. 4 meals were not eaten or comped last night, and your tall male host with the beard and glasses continued to be so rude to her, thinking we would tip nothing for the table.

We had a $100 tip for the team planned, but we did not give it to the group because my mother left crying over her ruined disabled stoke survivors possibly last birthday.

You need to do something for your team and fix this because the night was so beyond ruined for everyone at that table. Your staff was the most terrible I have seen since the end of covid. I am a general manager at a starbucks and I know for a fact that this should and will not be looked over. We want compensation, and a written fact that you willl be reaching out and talking to your team about DISABLED kindness and acceptance, and not judging a book by its cover. Even though we don’t look like much, we would have tipped heavy because this is a wealthy family.

I expect to hear back or I will continue to email and...

My wife and I had an early dinner (around 5:30pm) on a Wednesday night. The place was definitely not full. The ambiance is muted and the lighting dim which seemed mildly romantic and formal. We ordered the crispy brussel sprouts which were crispy but not terribly flavorful. They seemed a bit dry but the Sriracha dipping sauce was pretty good. I had a Caesar salad which was about standard for a side salad, but not included with the entree. As for entrees, my wife had the stuffed chicken breast with asparagus and pasta. I had the bone-in rib eye (med. rare) with the mashed potatoes. My steak was cooked properly and had a nice sear from the grill. It wasn't as flavorful as some steaks I've had, but it wasn't bad. Unfortunately the chicken, asparagus, and pasta was underwhelming. It was just okay. Nothing tasted "great" but it wasn't terrible either. The service for the first half of our time in the restaurant was stellar. Dishes were whisked away immediately and everything leading up to the entrees came out quickly. However, as the restaurant filled up, the service disappeared. We waited for drink refills, which shouldn't happen. Eventually, we had to grab a random worker so we could leave. We expected the check to be about $100 after the tip. However, in comparison to other steak restaurants, and overall quality of the food, it seemed they are about 20-25% more expensive without a matching difference in the food. (For example, Texas Roadhouse includes the salad, rolls, and gravy on the potatoes... While still maintaining equivalent quality and taste...with prices about 20% lower.) In summary, the food is better than average but not a good value for the price. If you wanted to impress someone with an almost fancy restaurant with elevated prices, this would be a good place to take them.

First visit (dine-in), table had artichoke spinach and cheese dip (good but I’ve made better at home, would order again), cheeseburger with fries (okay, would not order again), New York steak (most of it was gristle-more on that later, mashed potatoes were good-not sure I would order any steak again), miso salmon (great would order again), wild king salmon (good, never will eat a different preparation of asparagus-would order asparagus again). Second visit (to go), bleu cheese fries(not sauced well, not enough bacon or cheese, fries were okay-would not order again), calamari (gobbled up before I had a chance to taste-would order again), miso salmon (great but asked to sub asparagus and they didn’t-would order again if dining in) and traditional fried chicken dinner (might order again, can’t let it get soggy, potatoes were great again, coleslaw, just no-might order again). So back to the New York steak-it was my order. I only ate half of everything and what I ate wasn’t marbled as much as chewy-but still tasty. When I got home I sliced up the more than half leftover and noticed that most of it was gristle. A let-down because i was trying to find a good steakhouse close to home. I emailed the location and never received a reply. During my second visit (to go), I mentioned it and that experience was shrugged off by the young person who brought my order out. Anushka was the server for the first visit and she was amazing! Best waiter ever-I’d be happy for her to be my employee. That good! Very apprehensive to return after two visits, can only give two stars and only because Anushka was that amazing!
