Delicious sushi. We came here about a week ago randomly and have been back twice My questions for any candidate for consideration: Do you know about / have you implemented DMARC, DKIM, and / or SPF? Do you know about / have you implemented firewall NAT policies? Do you know about / have you implemented Windows Deployment Services and/or Microsoft Deployment Tool (WDS / MDT)? Have you performed pen testing / vulnerability assessments? If so, what software / solution? Do you know about / have you implemented hypervisors? Which one? Did you administer this or just use it? What is your experience level? Have you deployed, administrated, managed IDS and/or IPS? Have you deployed, administrated, managed IPv6? Have you managed other people? Please describe in detail your management experience? How many people? Depending on your answers, several of these are lofted softballs, center volleys on a volleyball court, teed up, fastball across the middle of the plateā¦. You get the idea. If they answer, āNever heard of that.ā Or āI did that in college 10 years agoā like the last interview, it is a hard pass. If they have any experience in these as an ADMIN not as someone that reported to a āSenior Level technicianā then I am interested. The successful candidate should be the senior level technician that everyone else came to for solutions with these...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love sushi avenue it is my favorite place for sushi!
The food: The hurricane roll is my favorite and they even let me order it without being fried although it's absolutely delicious either way. Please note they are very accommodating just explain if you want something changed up save on the side, extra sauce , no cucumber ect. Just adk. Two other rolls I like are the Canby and wilsonville.. really it comes down to what you like their fish is good! Also bonus if you have someone who doesn't like sushi they have a really good dish called creamy chicken yaki udon noodles and is so yummy! It's thick udon noodles and chicken in a creamy sauce with vegetables: cabbage, onions, broccoli and mushroom (I might be missing a vegetable or two). They also have teriyaki chicken and other non sushi options! They do have a kids menu they have the options of sushi or bento with chicken teriyaki. Kind if limited options for kiddos.
The restaurant: One thing I will say is that the entrance area is pretty small, but dine in is usually doable, and of course you can always get it to go. It's in a strip mall and is just a small business nothing fancy here but delicious food!! Easy parking they do have a parking lot. š
The service: It is great! Nice staff and reasonable wait time. You will not find your water glass empty here! Also they are very kind if you want a roll made a certain way they are so kind and accommodating!
Pictures will be added next time I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe decided to check this place out given the high reviews. We love sushi and usually try different locations. We went at a late afternoon time so it wasn't busy. We were welcomed and promptly seated. The service was kind and attentive. The atmosphere was chill. We ordered two jasmine hot teas, edamame, a veggie roll, spicy tuna roll, spider roll, and the Samurai roll. While they do have a large selection of rolls, there's nothing really unique or interesting about them. The tea was just a bag from the Stash brand. We prefer loose leaf or higher quality teas typically served at other places. The edamame was perfectly steamed and salted. The sushi was very disappointing. The spicy tuna had really no flavor or spice and I usually don't handle much heat. My partner said the spider tasted off and was worried the crab was spoiled. The veggie and Samurai rolls were just okay. Not a fan of Kikkoman soy sauce but that's just me so take it with a grain of salt. I can't justify the quality for the price. I will absolutely pay $15-20 per roll for quality sushi but this isn't it. Total was about $55...
