UPDATE: Downgrade from 4 to 3 stars. June 2017 I have been to this location another 5+ times. They are frequently out of something such as rice or sliced limes. There are odd piles of messy looking items around on the workspaces. Mostly they seem understaffed and server is in such a hurry that my meal is being skipped together reminiscent of a school cafeteria. The server moving my meal down the line before I am done speaking. Leaving me feeling rushed and needing to assert myself. Not good for the appetite. This has happened several times. Considering two stars...
Qdoba is a fast casual, build your meal as you go down a line, Mexican style restaurant. You can find a tasty, healthy meal here made with some fresh ingredients. Portions are generous if you ask. It is generally comfortable, clean with a young and friendly staff. (Healthy free drink life hack below) ~ SUMMARY: I like that the layout flows well with high top tables that are great for people who do not like to sit in booths. There is plenty of nice outdoor seating. This location is locally owned and has very affordable pricing. It is great for a franchise/corporate type place. I would recommend this place to my friends and family. ~ PRODUCT(S): I have had both the burrito and salad bowls. Friends dining with me have had tacos, bowls and burritos. There are a lot of items I have not tried. Most items are fresh looking and stocked up. Sometimes they wait a little too long to refresh staples such as brown rice or grilled vegetables. The grilled vegetables are soaked in oil which is quite unhealthy. One time I asked for a lot of grilled vegetables and before I could say anything the server dumped what was left, oil and all on top of my bowl. Be sure to ask them to pick off top and not scoop up the oil unless you are into it ;) They have a healthy eating tool available that I have not tried but looks helpful. ~ STAFF: The staff is friendly and young. It appears that there is a decent amount of turnover which is expected. Some workers are really dialed while others are a little clunky but not in a deal breaking way. I agree with other reviewers comments about feeling rushed in line. It helps to be patient with this type of place and make sure I communicate my needs clearly. Tonight when I dined one employee was really friendly and even said hello and asked how my meal was while he was on break. They have been accountable for mistakes and have corrected them in an acceptable way when it is brought to their attention. ~ PROPERTY/LOCATION: Good design with comfortable seating. Good outdoor seating where some is covered and others out in the sun. Nice and clean bathrooms. Generally this whole area can be difficult to get in and out of during rush hour traffic. ~ COMPARATIVELY: I think this is a better choice than Chipotle Mexican Grill.I don't like saying that being a CMG shareholder. Similar restaurants but the food just seems warmer, tastier, more plentiful and appealing. ~ LIFE HACK-HEALTHY FREE DRINK: Ask for a water cup and squeeze several fresh, vitamin C packed, lemons or limes into your cup. Their beverage machine has a button for soda water which has no calories or you can use tap water. ~ PLANT STRONG WHOLE FOODS-HACK: I order either a burrito bowl or salad bowl. They are the same menu item but the lettuce goes in the salad bowl first. Then only use the fresh, low oil, plant strong choices. I ask for two scoops of beans and brown rice to get extra calories. I also ask for "lots of" before each item because I love mountains of vegetables. I prefer: avocado, corn and bean salsa, hot salsa, grilled vegetables (see above about oil), lettuce, red onion, Jalapeños and cilantro. This is a legit healthy meal for $7.80! ~ I have been to this location 5+ times. ~ My angle is to write reviews as if I were recommending something to family or friends who are new to the area. I reserve five stars for out of the ordinary, exceptional and...
Read moreI attempted to take advantage of online ordering confirmed to pick up at 11:45, when i got to the restaurant my order had not even been started. Someone (big dude) said they hadn't even been notified of the order and called it a common problem. He then went on to suggest that after placing an online order i should call the store to confirm. Calling the store would defeat the purpose of online ordering. When i was leaving he said that order are only transmitted every 15 minutes. To me this means he has all the information he needs to know that someone should be checking for online orders every 15 minutes. Instead the management at the store has taken the approach to attempt to put the ownership of this issue on the consumer.
He was very apologetic, while at the same time giving me no indication that he has any intention of attempting to make the situation better should i want to take advantage of online ordering in the future. If that person was the manager of the restaurant they should be replaced with someone who is willing to take ownership of an issue and see it through to resolution.
Very Very Poor experience.

Read moreI ordered from Uber Eats on Thursday, a burrito bowl. On the app it didn’t give any options to add veggies (trust me, I triple checked). I figured the standard veggies/salsas would come with it. The driver came with rice and chicken ONLY. Clearly, it wasn’t the drivers fault. I called the store. It was before closing, so I understood they wouldn’t re-deliver the food. I spoke with a girl who transferred me the supervisor. I asked for a refund or at least a $10 meal credit. He proceeded to ignore everything I was saying and kept cutting me off. I asked to talk to someone else and he said there was no one else I could talk to. He couldn’t even come up with a mere “Let me check into this and give you a call back.” He said he wasn’t crediting me and it was my fault and that I should have ordered directly through their website. As someone who works in the customer service industry I was very upset. If your restaurant decides to participate in deliver services, you should have to pay the consequences of things being messed up. Will NEVER...
