I don't know what's going on with this particular Killer Burger, but a General Manager needs to step in and fire some of the employees. The change has been in just the last 3-4 months. I've order the chicken tenders basket a bunch of times but theyve ruined that for me. The last 3 times I didn't get any tenders, I got chicken nuggets. I'm talking nuggets the size of McDonald's nuggets. Of those 3 orders, 1 order had 1 nugget, another order had 2 nuggets and only 1 order had 3 nuggets. Again, nuggets, not tenders. I've called and complained but it just got worse.
I ordered 2 different burgers the other day, you'll see in my photos how RAW they are. You can see that they are 2 different burgers, not 2 different pictures of the same burger. THEY WERE BOTH RAW. I didn't order them like that, I don't even think you can order them like that.
What kind of idiots are working at this place? I mean, maybe they switched from tenders to nuggets just to be cheap chumps. If not, the cooks need to pay attention and give the customers some respect and what they paid for. Serving a raw burger is really stupid though. The burger patties are so thin, they only need a minute or so on each side to be cooked correctly. Super easy job to do, even if they're busy. Killer Burger isn't a big company, they would go out of business if someone got sick. At this point, it doesn't seem to make a difference to them.
I used to love Killer Burger, not now. These weren't isolated occurrences, these have been over several...
Read moreI wanted to share my experience with the staff at this Killer Burger location. Before I placed my order with the cashier, I noticed that she was wearing black nitrile gloves. Pretty standard for a place that serves food. However, they looked to be covered in grease and remnants of food crumbs. I place my order with her and paid with cash. While still wearing the same gloves she took my cash and handed me my change. Then she handed me my cup for my meal... wearing the same greasy gloves she handed me my cup with her index finger inside the cup. This left a greasy fingerprint on the inside of my cup. I should have asked for a new cup but didn't. I grabbed a napkin and whipped off the grease. I only filled my cup halfway and drank from the other side but was still of put by it all. Unfortunately, it doesn't end there. This same employee with the same gloves on delivered my food. I watched as she delivered others orders as well while still wearing the original greasy gloves. And on top of all of that, this employee wearing the same gloves began to clean the drink station. She then went back taking orders, with the same greasy original gloves, after cleaning the drink station with a spray bottle and rag.
I do not recommend ordering from this location. Thankfully I did not get sick but if you felt sick after eating at this location, I think...
Read moreWe dined here for Father's Day (my husband's choice) and as per usual it was delicious! The burger is well seasoned and juicy with fresh, hot fries. The staff is friendly and it's nice and clean inside. I'd say we've been about 10 times - combo of dine in or takeout, which I stop in and order to go, as opposed to using a delivery service. I will say, the bun is very soft, which our family likes but, be prepared to use lots of napkins!
I do wish a glass of wine was available, as I don't drink beer or soda. I imagine they don't offer it because they wouldn't sell enough to keep it fresh in the bottle. I'd honestly be okay with one of the tiny, single serve bottles of Sutter Home or similar.
Personal suggestion: please DO tip these hard working people! Yes, tipping culture has become a bit forceful and crazy (I'm NOT going to tip if I walk into 7-Eleven to buy a Smart Water) but Killer Burger isn't an overpriced fast food joint. This is fresh, cooked to order food. The employees who bring your order to the table in a courteous manner and keep the place clean do deserve a bit of...
