UPDATE: Upgrade from 4.5 to 5 stars. This location has been consistently excellent. Extra friendly staff, well made drinks and quick turn around times.
4.5⭐️ This is my "go to" coffee shop. I really like the hard working, friendly, service oriented staff. The location is highlighted by a large shady outdoor seating area that begs for hot sunny days. (Free coffee life hack below) COMPARATIVELY: This location is a much better choice over the Starbucks located a few hundred yards away at Fred meyer's. The Freddie's menu is limited and the space is shared with a cafeteria and it does not have that "coffee shop feel." STAFF: as a customer and shareholder I love that the staff is always working even when things are slow. They remembered my favorite orders just after a few visits. They have met any reasonable request, for example I like my hot drinks in a small cup and they ordered more small cups after being out of them twice. They have accomodated me several times and corrected any errors, that naturally occur over time, without question and a positive attitude. The remedy is alway in my favor. PROPERTY/LOCATION: the size is moderate or a typical Starbucks. Pleanty of indoor seating with just two nice leather chairs (the space does not warrant more). There is lots of outdoor seating but very little southern facing. This makes the cool or wet days outside not too inviting. When it is really hot out trees provide lots of good shade. In the summer there are some sunny seats in the morning to early afternoon. There is no high top seating available, inside or outside, this would be an improvement for customers who prefer it such as people with back injuries or other needs. LIFE HACK-FREE COFFEE: If you use the rewards app you can get free brewed refills. This is perfect if you are spending some time with friends, work or a good book. I like to start off with a latte in a small ceramic cup. After enjoying that I switch to a brewed coffee with some steamed milk in the same cup for free! Note: the staff here pointed this option out to me which is another example of how they are killing it! PLANT STRONG WHOLE FOODS-HACK: I am not a fan of soy milk but when it is steamed it turns very sweet and has great foam. A soy latte is sweet enough on its own and is a great healthy lower calorie option. TEMPORARILY: there is a vacancy next door that create lots of extra parking for fast in and outs. This location is normally busy at peak morning and weekend hours but if you want a quiet experience to read this place is all yours in the evening. They are currently closing early because of the vacancy next door. 6 pm except holidays. 11/19/2016 I have been to this location 100+ times and frequently spend over 30 min here. I am also a long time Starbucks share holder and consider my self on the critical side for this reason. I would have liked to give this 4.5 stars but it is not an option, I reserve five stars for out of the ordinary, exceptional and...
Read moreThis review needs to be shared with corporate. I used to be an avid customer to Starbucks. Over the last few years I have noticed a HUGE decline in customer service at many Starbucks locations. We travel quite often have had terrible experiences in airports along with other states, especially Oregon. We try our best to NOT patron Starbucks anymore, locally or when we travel.
Sometimes we cave and head into a Starbucks location because of the convenience and this morning was one of those mornings.
When we walked into the Wilsonville Starbucks across the street from Fred Meyer. We were met with welcomes, smiles and the utmost friendliness service. Robyn, Nancy, and two other gals were FANTASTIC! They were attentive, cheery, fun, pleasant, warm and inviting. They knew their local customer names. I was absolutely shocked! Were we really in a Starbucks? Was this a Starbucks back in time, pre covid? All I can say that if I lived in Wilsonville, OR that Starbucks location would have our business daily!
Corporate should use this Starbucks as a role model for all other stores. All the employees there this morning should definitely receive a raise or something extra as they gave us an experience that makes us want to return. Kudos to the Wilsonville team! You all rock!
Thank you for the exceptional customer service! Hopefully, corporate will read this review and have your store be the example for all the other stores that suck, so they can learn to be better...
Read moreKinda sad lonely location. Store is ok. A little dirty. Drink was good. The whole time we sat here, we had to listen to a guy with a shaved head talk about how much they made in tips. They make less than 1% of their sales apparently. Comes out to about $1.35 an hour. The company tips out everyone weekly on their check based on hours worked. Had to hear about other stores he worked in. And it was both employees and customers he was talking to. Seriously, more info than I needed. He had a booming voice that was hard to ignore. I didn't come here for the negativity. I could watch the news if I wanted that. I always tip, unless there is a...
