My favorite place to get pizza and coke in a glass bottle. Lot of reviews mentioning online ordering, yeah it's a website probably using some kind of online service to provide that, my advice, just don't use it. Go in and order in person and pick up in person like it's the 50's and enjoy a fantastic pizza.
That's part of the charm of this place for me personally, walking down the down town walking mall like it's 1990 again and just stopping in for a slice and then continuing walking around.
Of all the pizza places in Frederick County, Warren County, and Clarke County, I'd say this is a tie for #1 for me with Melting Pot in Front Royal, nothing else comes close.
My only complaint is that I want fresh slices when I come in, it's best fresh, I don't want 6 hour old slices, but I won't knock any stars for that, I just chose a non popular time to come in, I understand not being able to always have fresh ready to go slices at random...

The food, like many other reviews, is simple and bland. It use to be good but the crust way too thin and burnt, no sauce, and the cheese is almost nonexistent. The slices nowadays are MUCH SMALLER than they use to be. Seriously, they are the same size as mall food. I thought the whole deal is getting a large slice, a Virginia slice?
Finally, there needs to be a number system. Seriously. That would solve the majority of the problems with wait. If an employee yells "pepperoni slice" half the customers come to the counter. It's not our job to distinguish who was first.
Again, I don't like to review places often, and if the place changes I will DEFINITELY re-review!! But until then there needs...
Read moreThought the price was high for a slice until I got the slice. Lol. Huuuuuge. Was absolutely delicious. Service couldn't have been better. I needed a dollar cash back for bus fare and they said we don't do any cash back. Guy asks why I needed it. I tell him. Takes a dollar out and gives it to me. He's like here ya go man, call it southern hospitality. My jaw was on the floor. How above and beyond is that?
Suffice to say I have it back in his tip plus 20% on top of that. Was the least I could do.
With the service and food that spectacular, what that guy did was make a fan for life and I'll be bringing a party of ten in because I have out of town guests coming in. After that first time experience, I wouldn't dare risk taking my guests somewhere...
