Glazed and Confused — Restaurant in Winchester

We've wanted to visit here for soooo long and always forget! Today, we just so happened to be traveling south for a family get together and remembered... AH! Glazed and Confused! Our visit did not disappoint! I'm wheat intolerant so finding gluten-free items is usually hit or miss (and typically, gluten-free doesn't always taste the best). Glazed and Confused WINS extra points just for that! And the gluten-free donuts don't even taste gluten-free 😍 I kept saying, "How? How are they so light and fluffy?!" The donuts all on their own are fabulous but the glazes and toppings take it over-the-top fantastic! There are a myriad flavors you can choose from many with adorable or colloquial names (aka Cereal Killer or The Homer). We also tried the bagel sandwiches (again with a gluten-free option!) and they were AHMAZING! They reminded me of my favorite bagel sandwiches down in OBX. Light and chewy on the inside, crispy on the outside! They offer mayo, Sriracha, and mustard for toppings, but, honestly, the sandwiches are so delicious you don't even need any! I also order a vanilla and caramel iced coffee for the hubster and me. Love! Their "magic bean water" is flavorful and light (doesn't have that heavy, sugary Starbucks mouth feel). The decor is homey and many tongue-in-cheek sayings adorn the walls. The kids were in awe of the Lego bouquets. We'll definitely be back for another awesome...

The GF donuts here are the best I have ever had. They are so really unique and delicious -- almost like a cross between a typical donut, cake, and angel food. While they start with the same GF donut base, you can put all kinds of amazing things on top -- like vanilla syrup, chocolate chips, coconut, Fruity Pebbles, and even BACON! It's no wonder they usually run out of GF donuts by the end of the day.

Now I know what you might be thinking. Donuts like that must cost a fortune, right? Nope. I got 6 GF donuts fully loaded with all kinds of goodness for just $11. That's a deal!

I also had a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a GF bagel and it was FANTASTIC!

On one hand, I wish I lived closer to this place. On the other hand, I'm glad I live over an hour away. Otherwise, I would be here EVERY....

Donuts are great at this place, the online ordering system needs to be adjusted or better explained. On Thursday evening, I ordered and paid for two dozen Bangers donuts for our party today (Saturday), as well as a dozen glazed to be picked up mid-morning. I received an email around the time of my pickup that I was being refunded my money for the Bangers donuts that I had ordered. As I was picking up the glazed donuts, I was told that they were sold out of Bangers for the day. I guess the online ordering system is the same as walking into the store at that time, instead of the requested donuts being set aside beforehand. Having to scramble at the last minute to find additional donuts for our party, when I had already placed the big order was beyond frustrating. Make your pickup time early if ordering online to receive the donuts...
