The staff here seriously need to be retrained. I order the same thing every single day from this location and they somehow always manage to mess it up. (Pictured; first is my regular order, second is what I received today after speaking to three different baristas to clarify what my order was) there’s no communication between the baristas. I’ve previously called to check if they had oat milk, Nathan answers and says yes, I arrive and the barista on the intercom says they’re out. Okay. I used to always order my regular drink in a grande but they consistently put my drink in a venti cup. Okay, fine, I start ordering it in a venti so there’s no discrepancy. Then once I consistently order my drink the way they make it (in a venti cup) the barista starts to short me on milk. I don’t complain or even mention anything the first time but the next time I ask if they can actually fill the cup up with milk (I am still paying for it) the baristas now challenge me on the amount of milk I’m receiving in my cup and almost suggests I order something else. I’m a previous partner, I don’t need to be challenged or informed on my drink. If anyone does, it’s them. I’m not ordering a latte, I’m ordering a quad shot of espresso with milk and syrup. The majority of my drink is not milk, it’s shots. And for them to even challenge me is ridiculous. Annoying. I begin to order my drink in a grande again like I originally did before they consistently upsized me. If they had the syrup available and updated as they should in the mobile ordering system I could avoid the mess of even ordering with them and just order online but I can’t even do that because their items are never updated. A few mornings ago I was in line for 25 minutes, I was two cars behind whoever was at the window, for 25 minutes. The woman at the window did not even greet me or look up. I was astounded. I took my drink said thanks and left. I’ve never had lousier service at a Starbucks before. Today takes the cake of frustration. It’s like they don’t even listen or understand when the order is placed but they run with it anyways and fail to communicate. This is an every day order. At this point I’m battling myself on being disappointed at rittiman or walzem but walzem location is by far is consistently...
Read moreSo I'm leaving this review for one of the employees. I don't know her name but she was working the drive thru Monday morning September 9th. She has long dark hair and has a light brown back pack with something on it. She is completely RUDE. I wasn't going to leave this review but, I thought about it. After telling some co-workers and all of them agreeing that what she did wasn't right. I have two daughters. I bought two drinks and a cake pop on a Thursday and forgot it because I was talking to one of the employees at the window. The following Monday the 9th, I went as i do nearly everyday. I ordered two drinks in the drive thru. When I got to the window, I informed her that I had forgotten a cake pop that previous Thursday and asked if it was possible to get in now. She had an attitude first of all. The look on her face was of discussed. She turns and goes and gets it. When she returned I handed her my card to pay. She handed me my drinks and the cake pop. She handed me my card back, then asked if I wanted a receipt. I said yes please. Normally I won't take a receipt but, curiosity of whether I was charged for the cake pop again was eating at me , so Isaid yes. She then turns and walks over to one of the front registers and comes back with a four dollar gift card. She says she accidentally charged me for it. It wasn't an accident at all as I didn't order it through the drive thru. I told her the story at the window in which she turned right around and rang it up. The kicker is she wasn't even going to tell me that she "accidentally" rung it up. Not until I said I wanted a receipt did she bother. She has very poor customer skills and is extremely unprofessional. I wouldn't have someone like that at the drive thru window of my establishment. However, the rest of the morning crew I usually see on a daily basis is awesome!!! They are the only reason I continue...
Read moreThis location is always incredibly busy it seems. If you're in a hurry, mobile order and pick up your drink or stop at another location. Honestly for people complaining about the wait, have a little patience...stop being so entitled and understand that you are not the ONLY customer at this location. Simmer down princess...
A lot of people complain about getting their order messed up or hot instead of iced, but make sure you are actually looking at the sticker to ensure you are grabbing the right drink! Several times I have waited 10+ minutes for my mobile order after arriving on time for it to be ready, checked in with the baristas about it, only to find someone took the wrong drink because they weren't paying attention.
I have rarely ever had a "bad" drink from this location and if anything seems off, they are always willing to make it right. I always customize my iced coffee quite a bit and haven't ever had anything missing.
Not really the fault or anyone but the original designers, but something to keep in mind is that the parking situation here is atrocious. The way the drive thru wraps around, if you end up parking to go inside and it gets even mildly busy, you're going to get trapped by the line. People also don't have any sense on how to queue and will try to get in line from two different entrances to the parking lot, causing a ton of traffic. You're better off parking behind the shopping strip and walking over.
That being said, this location is pretty great. The inside is cozy, has a lot of comfy chairs and really large tables to work from. The patio is even better and has tons of room and shade! Overall, this location has it's kinks that could be worked out if the company put more effort into labour and ensuring the store is appropriately staffed, but otherwise a good and consistent...
