This is my third time coming here, and I tried to order a chicken wrap with two sides. There must have been someone new at the window because when she asked me if I wanted a combo and I answered my two sides, she replied you can't get two sides with your order. Okay whatever. The biggest problem was when I got my chicken wrap and found hair in it. I took it back immediately, and the manager was kind enough to give me a refund out of his own pocket. It's that sincerity that keeps this review from being one star.

So we have meetings on certain days of the week and we always got to the same places to eat! I wanted to change it up a bit so I suggested cookout! They were great! Everything was perfect and not only that but for 7 men’s meals the price was 56.70$… I bring that up because we had went to Arby’s the week before and for the same group of guys the bill was 190$… and the food was better! So thank you cookout!!

I am so very upset with Cookout in Winder. There was MOLD in my husband sweet tea! Cookout Winder needs to learn how to clean out their ice machine. Also to add to the MOLD my husband’s meal was all wrong!! If you choose to eat here, check your order before you leave and your drink for mold!!

The food is pretty good if they don't over cook it & or get wrong & not fix it the way You ask but that is slim to none & they can't even get the condiments right. Ask for BBQ & get Ranch, idk why cause BBQ & Ranch sound nothing alike so the only other explanation to Me would be they obviously aren't as happy to serve You as they say & or claim. I 90% of the time get the 3 chicken 🐔🍗 strip tray & it's good when it's fresh & when You actually get some chicken 🐔🍗 instead of it 95% crust & very small to where 3 pieces is actually 1-1.5 pieces if You're lucky & I get a bacon 🥓 wrap & cheese 🧀 bites & they use to give You a good portion of cheese 🧀 bites & now it's 4-5 & if you get lucky 6 & usually 2-3 of them actually have cheese 🧀 in them & the other couple just crust & 90% of the time my bacon 🥓 is burnt on my bacon wrap & never made the way I ask which is simple, NO RANCH, ADD Honey Mustard & Cajun Seasoning & let's not forget the tiny piece of shriveled up lettuce 🥬 & 2-3 tiny tiny strips of cheese that come on it if You're lucky enough to get both. I use to eat there every day & I just stopped going to the 1 in Winder & started occasionally going to the 1 in Athens on Elps Bridge which is not much further than Me going to Winder & they give You a decent amount of food but You run into the same issue with the quality of the food & there you usually sit in line forever which they are generally a lot busier than Winder but they have a bad habit of closing the other drive thru lane & don't block it off with comes or anything & won't even tell You threw the intercom that the lane is closed & not only make You loose Your spot in line & have to come back around if you're willing to after sitting at the intercom for 10-15+ minutes waiting to hear...

Idk. Months ago this place was great and always quick and kind. Stopped here today on 5/4/24 at around 3pm and slow slow slow, both lanes filled and been sitting here for 20 min without moving, I’m about to leave and go get food somewhere else and they can keep the food they made. I see them attending ppl inside and us outside are waiting for 30 minutes. What are y’all doing?

Update: I just went from 3 stars to 1 star. On the night of the 24th I pulled into the second drive through, along with 3 other people behind me. We waited patiently to hear from the speaker for 6/7 min and finally a guy came on, didn’t say anything other than “sorry second drive through is closed, drive back around the building and go to the back of the line for the first drive through”. I responded with “why would I get out of line and go back around the building to go behind 3/4 other cars that pulled in after me? Arnt you speaking to me right now? Can’t you just take my order?”, he then proceeded to repeat himself rudely, so I repeated myself, “you’re talking to me already can’t you just take my order? And you have no cone out here, nothing, to show customers the second drive through is closed”, he refuels responded with “let me get my manager” and never came back to the speaker. I then cussed them out, flicked them off and me and another car behind me drove across the street to the competitor. Idk why you guys replaced the team yall had last year/ beginning of the year, but this new team is trash, rude, slow and have zero customer service skills. I would fire all of them, especially that team that specific night. I...

Usually have a good experience here. But last night let me down. It took me 30 minutes to get my food. And when I got to the window the girl complained about serving customers. If you don’t enjoy working in customer service then don’t do it. Don’t get me wrong, I know how stressful it can get. I work at a fast food restaurant myself. But she straight up called another girls name asking her to take her spot since she was tired of “looking at and serving people” followed with a “no offense”. And don’t get me wrong my coworkers and I get stressed too. But the line was not nearly as long for it to have taken so long, and for such sayings. Felt as though me as a customer was being overlooked and classified as unimportant. Will not be returning. Not to mention I got a tray with a burger, fries, and hushpuppies. Ended up with 3 hushpuppies, and 12 fries ??? I’m a 5’2 93 lb teenager. I need to eat more than that lol. Which is why I’ve preferred going here in the past. The portions were always amazing!...
