La Centinela Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Winder

I USED TO HAVE A FIVE STAR REVIEW FOR this Mexican restaurant but after going a couple of times Ive noticed they have a Big Problem! IF I COULD CHOOSE NO STARS I WOULD!! So its the second time ive been served by the waiter there he is a young bald man, looks like a manager type. My lunch partner and I ordered 2 Golden / Texas Margaritas. As soon as the came to the table I could tell my the color they were not right. In the past he also made us a bad margarita but i was too shy too say anything too him. This time.. I had too.. the Margarita tasted Horrible, it was like drinking a over sugared lemonade and the alcohol was non existent or heavily covered by the sour mix. We told him the drinks tasted terrible and asked if he made a golden, he argued with us about the difference of a golden and a texas margarita, so we said fine make us a texas margarita. Instead of making us new drinks he told us to drink it down some and then HE JUST ADDED A SHOT MORE OF TEQUILA AND GRAND MARNIER TO IT, IN ITS GLASS. IT WAS NOT MIXED PROPERLY AND ONLY MADE THE DRINK MORE UNBEARABLE!! Worst of it after we said the drinks tasted awful, he never came bk to the table, didnt ask how the drink tasted after he added to it, he knee it was gonna be bad and ignored us until we were ready to leave. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER and to top it off when we were leaving I tried explaining the drink had too much sour mix to begin with and that adding to a horrible tasting margarita just made it even worse. He said to me "THAT IS JUST CENTINELA" NO SIR IT WAS NOT JUST CENTINELA, IN THE PAST IVE HAD ANOTHER PERSON MAKE ME A PERFECT MARGARITA FROM CENTINELA! SO NO IT ISNT CENTINELA ITS JUST YOU LACK THE KNOWLEDGE OF HOW TO MAKE A MARGARITA!! OR YOU JUST DONT CARE! I WILL NOT EVER EAT IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN, mainly becayse youre customer service was horendous. It was like i was the joke of the restaurant because i was a women that could taste you made me a bad margarita. And then to ignore me the rest of the time, basically had to serve myself with straws, napkins, and had to go to the front for the check. He didn't charge me for the disgusting margaritas i couldnt drink but he didnt care to ask if i wanted something else or to help me in any way. He just didnt care and thats a terrible...

We have eaten here before and the food and service were average and just like every other restaurant. Today we tried eating here again and weren't seated more than 5 min before getting up and walking out. Our server was HORRIBLE.

When he approached us (without chips and salsa) I ordered a margarita and asked him what sizes they have. He said "small and large." Ok what's your small and what's your large? He turned my menu over and pointed to a picture. My fiancé asked how much the pitcher was and how many drinks you could get out of it. He said "idk." So I had to think it thru (I was a server and a bartender for many years). When we decided that we wanted we proceeded to order (he wasn't standing at our table more than a minute) and he cut us off and said "hold on" and walked to another nearby table. We were frustrated by this time but let it go. The second time he came back my fiancé was in the middle of asking him a question... our server looking dead at him WALKED OFF again in the middle of his sentence. We got up and walked out. We were sure to tell the hostess on our way out what had happened but she was unapologetic.

Like I previously stated I was a server for 5 years so I know that customer service is #1 as a server. I also know how over whelming serving can be at times so I ALWAYS give the benefit of the doubt but to say "idk" and walk off on someone twice when they're trying to ask you a question is RUDE!!!

We will never eat here again! Oh and btw I had a crisp $100 bill I was happy to give our server this evening but looks like someone else will be...

Came in this week with my family (8 of us total), we waited and waited and waited to be seated. No one else was waiting except us, the resturant had PLENTY of tables and booths open and they were NOT busy, we were about to leave when a girl comes by and told us to wait even longer. I saw she went back to clean up a SIX seat table and she literally was SO SLOW! no rush, took her sweet time, she took so long another waitress came by to seat us and she did at a table larger than what the other girl offered. Sadly our waitress was the 1st girl and she was already annoyed by us, she NEVER smiled, she NEVER greeted us, she NEVER spoke clearly or kind. She definitely has an attitude issue. There's 6 adults and two kids and she only came by ONCE to our table the entire evening at the end when we were already done. My fiance wanted more tortillas midway and was waiting for her to come back but she never came to ask if we needed any more drinks, etc. So he had to ask another waiter to bring tortillas. I guess he didn't do it himself and just told our waitress to, she came 20 minutes after but by that time my fiance refused to wait since his food was getting cold and just ate his fajitas with a spoon. Won't be coming back due to her. Huge waste of money due to poor customer service. There's plenty other Mexican...
