Winder Public Library — Attraction in Winder

I love this library! I've been coming to it for about 10 years. It's changed a lot through the years but all of the changes have been improvements! The staff has always been kind, nice, & super helpful. You can also check out your books on your own & use the computers on your own with a library card! This place was a great place for me through my teen & tween years. I reccomend their teen events, whether you are 13 or 17, they are fun! They have always been a great way to make friends & get out of the house. I hope they'll be able to bring back small game tables and study tables when its safe! Most of the staff is friendly however I witnessed one librarian destroy a patron’s property and then lie about it. Prior to the patron confronting the librarian, I overheard the librarian make rude comments about the patron, and then when confronted, she was extremely unfriendly and unprofessional. My kids & I decided that we were going to spend more time over the Summer at the library...confession-I haven't been to the library in a few years :( We were all pleasantly surprised & amazed at all the changes that were made!!!
