Long John Silver's | KFC — Restaurant in Winnemucca

Ordered the three-piece fish pulled to the drive-thru window was told the amount I asked for two cups of ice told him I would be willing to pay for them. he then told me it would be 3 minutes for fresh fish could I pull around I said yes it was about 3 minutes pulled over in the shade and parked to eat there was so much oil on the fish it was leaking out of the box the fish was overcooked the breading was so hard it was terrible to eat the two hush puppies we're so overcooked you touch them and I just disintegrated there was nothing there was already running late needed to be in Salt Lake so we just left did not have time to have the food redone would have to say the worst...

My dad and I were staying at the Pilot Truck Stop next door and came in here for dinner. Not only was the food terrible but I was thoroughly grossed out with the way they handled our food and the people who ordered KFC(joint restaurant). I saw the girl battering our fish with no gloves on, I saw the manager touching the inside of the KFC bucket and the paper that goes in with no gloves. I then saw the manager slide the chicken out of the warmer and the tray and chicken were touching his clothes. Not a single person in the back was wearing gloves. Never eating at a long John silvers again. The food was deep fried to the max, neither of us finished our food....

Stopped in yesterday for a bite to eat while on the road traveling. Hadn’t seen or eaten at LJS in a very long time ,so I was thrilled about pulling off the 80 and ordering me some. This fish in my opinion was way over cooked and the shrimp was rubbery and pretty much like the fish. Fry’s and coleslaw were good however and it’s sad knowing that I left unhappy and felt the brand had really gone south in terms of quality and atmosphere. The place also doubled as a KFC and it wouldn’t surprise me if the staff just didn’t care much about what they were...
