Burger King — Restaurant in Winona

May 2022 UPDATE: Figured I'd try this place again, it's been a while since my last visit. I pull up to the drive through & tell them my mobile order, I was told to come in. Confused because the app I selected to drive through for my pick-up. Went inside and there was 4 other people waiting for orders, 2 of which hadn't ordered yet. The manager had 3 inch finger nails (gross), the girl working the drive through had an attitude/ did NOT want to be there, and another girl who was making the food took a min to step out of the kitchen door/ hide by the bathrooms, & complain/ gossip loudly with a friend of hers that came in. After 10 min of waiting, I got a bag and was told it was my order. I went to my car & opened it, it wasn't my order. I went back inside and gave it to the right person. I waited 10 more minuets & finally got my order. I got home, & there was a LONG blonde hair in my sandwich. Seriously, what a joke, waste of time & money. I know they're hiring & training, but it's been almost a year since the Winona, MN BK has opened, you'd think they'd have all of this locked down. Horrible service. Aug 2021: Winona BK opened up maybe a month ago. Originally I though, Ok it's new, it'll be nice & clean, friendly, fast-ish (still possibly learning things), & a good fresh start... SO WRONG. I've been there twice and both terrible experiences. First I tried using the BK mobile app to order ahead for pickup, it glitches out (which isn't Winona's fault), but still an annoyance. At the drive through, after waiting about 20 min I'm greeted with "what'chu want to eat?". Then them saying we don't accept the mobile coupons & a manager in the background saying they do, them not knowing what kind of soda or deals they have, nobody at the first/ paying window, having to re-order because it was lost/ not rung up, missing & wrong items in the order itself, and an attitude when I went inside to get it corrected. I'm honestly not trying to be mean, but it's pretty sad when there's such a bad start with horrible customer service/ workers not showing any effort to want to work at a new place. I'm hoping...

Literally the worst fast food experience I've ever had. Had to stop at target quickly so I decided to run through the drive thru even though I'm not a huge BK fan. Screaming 2 year old in the back seat who's starving. Doesn't look too busy, get my order in, get to the window, pay, get asked to pull forward to wait for my food. There are a few other people in front of me, so I just pull ahead as far as I can and move up as people leave. Someone stops and asks for my receipt. I wasnt given one so I tell her my order. No one ever comes out again. It's now been over half an hour and I still have the hangry toddler so I repeatedly call the number online since I can't run into the store. Someone finally picks up. Asks for my receipt again. Another girl comes out, asks for my receipt. Phone lady asks what I ordered again and can't find food anywhere. Finally locates the food and brings it out. Offers to go back in to get a coupon for my wait. Still have a now screaming child and guess what? I'm never coming back here again, so I really don't want to wait another 15 minutes while you get me a coupon. Now I'm sitting here with a crabby child who won't fall asleep because she sat in the BK drive thru for 45 minutes and...

This location was nightmarish...the sign outside read "under new management" when we pulled in. I ordered a burger, fries and a soda and then we sat in the drive thru line for over 20 min!!! I wouldve just drove away had I not been blocked in...we were in a hurry and had somewhere to be in 30min and thought this would be a quick option right off the highway...WRONG! Then after 20 mins we pulled up to the window and the person just looked at us and walked away for another 5 minutes and returned to take our payment and disappeared again for like another 5 minutes and returned with my soda and yet again 5 MORE MINUTES we were handed our bag...how frustrating 😑 we obviously missed our meeting and to boot they didn't give us any fries 😑. All that was in the bag was a burger...AFTER ALL THAT TIME! I wasn't going back there to complain or hv my order corrected. Just will never go bk again...lesson learned...in a hurry? just go to Mc Donalds it's not great but at least they're consistent n quick. Sorry burger King but time is $$ and this is just unacceptable in the FAST food biz. 35 minutes??? Why? If I was at home I could've practically cooked a whole meal...
