King's Wok III — Restaurant in Winslow Township

I was very disappointed with my order and the service I received from this place. Firstly, when I called ahead to order, I was mislead about the pricing of my order. I was going off the online menu pricing and when I spoke to the lady she confirmed that my order would be $28, I repeated the price several times and her response was yes every time. Then when I got to the establishment the woman at the counter quickly and heavily accented said the price as I handed over my card. She immediately swiped it as I was asking her to repeat herself, she handed me the receipt and repeated the charged amount of $59! I could not understand how the price almost doubled! When I asked to clarify and repeated previous phone conversation, she laughingly said oh those online prices must be old, then the woman next to her spoke something in their language and then she handed me a new menu and said sorry for the confusion and emotionlessly pushed my food towards me and said have a good day. Not wanting to cause too much of a fuss and with seemingly no other option I took my food and left. I got home to my hungry family to find the chicken was deformed, small and too crispy with almost no meat. So I said all that to say I’m never going back...

don't have photos unfortunately to show the meal as i tossed the whole thing in the trash. I ordered the lunch special for $8.95 - sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and added an egg roll it also came with a small container of wonton soup. Now for $9 that's a really good value ! UNTIL....I tried the food.. The sweet and sour chicken has some kind of red goo sauce that smelled and tasted like a chemical ... it was foul ... not like the sweet and sour chicken i usually get anywhere else it seemed rancid. the chicken was over cooked and chewy... it smelled awful with that red gooo they used . The fried rice was bland and tasted like it was leftovers from a month ago. Nasty !!! The egg roll was filled with this red vegetable with no protein ... under cooked in fryer as the egg roll was very greasy and soft ... i didn't even try the wonton soup that they gave for free after dealing with the rest of the meal i just chucked it all in the garbage . The food was terrible! The 3 chicken dishes that I got: Sweet & Sour/Grandfather/Sesame the chicken was so tough it was hard to chew! The pork inside the Fried Wontons & Wonton Soup noodles was weird looking it was light tan instead of dark colored pork and it tasted terrible! The General Tso Shrimp looked so big, but it was all breading and the breading was horrible! The Egg Rolls were terrible, but the Shrimp Rolls were good! The Crab Rangoons were good, but they were tiny and there wasn’t hardly any filling inside the fried noodle! The Shrimp LoMein was really horrible it tasted like they spilled ginger in it there was a horrible taste to it! I couldn’t even eat it! My sister threw away her Sesame Chicken and Grandfather Chicken, because it was so hard to chew it wasn’t edible! They don’t even deliver you have to pick it up! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!
