Lasagna dinner was very good, salad bar had a good selection, it was clean and fresh, garlic bread served with dinner was also very good. We were here for an extended 10hr break. With a one 9 fuel stop, laundry mat (cheap ) and Walmart all within reach it's an excellent place for a layover. I have been here twice with similar results. If I changed anything it would be a transition to table service instead of ordering at the counter. That said it works really well like it is so the need to change just isn't there. Great job we'll be back. The 4 star on service was due to table service not being offered not a reflection on the help or personalities at the counter which was better than expected for a small eatery with diverse help. Whoever Captain Tony is should be proud of the help and their eatery. Have eaten here multiple times. I always get too much salad and have trouble finishing the lasagna. Soooo good to find this gem and I want to do all I can to promote...
Read moreSome of the worst service I've had there, ever. And I frequently dine at this establishment. Yea, there was a rush when the party I was with showed up. The staff was great about checking on everyone else. The waiter had brought our order of hot wings and asked if there was anything else. And I asked for some extra pepper packets. And the same waiter was by countless times. Making sure to venture around our table. Same guy has served us before. No one else even made an effort to ask how we were doing. I watched as all the other servers made sure all the other patrons were well taken care of(mainly all the customers that the staff knew). Food was great. If this place has a standard for customer service. It sure wasn't there this evening. When there's a push to buy local, and then to have service like this. It reflects on our future visits on what to expect. Expect major chain customer service. If your not a local expect sub-par...
Read moreI was so excited to make this our pizza stop on the roadtrip. Arcade games for the kids, pizza, salad bar, beer, chicken wings. Seems like a no-brainer. Half of the games didn’t work. Such a wasted nostalgia. The service was good, wonderful employee took my order. Pizza was good, the boneless chicken wings were quarter sized nuggets at best and cost $13! The interior of the joint although dated, if maintained, would have fit the blast to the past. But unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. It appeared, like the games, the booth seats had been neglected, among other things. The bathrooms were that of a truck stop nightmare. Grimy and hadn’t been deep cleaned since 1995. All in all, I hope the owner sees this and the next time we roll through town, it has its blockbuster magic back! This place could be so charming! And bring back Parmesan shakers to the tables. Packets are unacceptable...
