Bagner and Alexa's Downtown Cafe — Restaurant in Winston-Salem

I ate here for lunch during my office day at work downtown.

I ordered a gyro with fries. Food was average and bland, with nothing standing out or grabbing my attention. Everything was properly cooked/prepared. Prices are disproportionate to the quality/taste, unfortunately. An overall acceptable and perfectly normal eating experience. Nothing really more to share.

Concerning atmosphere - this cafe needs a bit more character and personalization to give it that flare that most cafes have and deserve.

This is a good place to eat downtown Winston-Salem. As a suggestion when an order is placed, make sure to clarify with the customer. The quesadillas were great, I would have preferred no green peppers, please give 2 sour creams, lettuce/tomatoes, salsa, & chips. Presentation is everything. In the box should be Quesadillas in the large section, salsa in the top right comparment, chips in the top left compartment, lite shredded lettuce on top of the Quesadillas. They do all day breakfast which is great if you're not an early riser! Prices were great for the portions we got. Food was ready quickly, tasted good, and was what you'd expect from a diner. Nothing blew my mind but it was all good and hit the spot!
