Normally the subs are good but it seems they are cutting back on the meats and tuna. Ordered a regular tuna and received one scoop of tuna. I asked for double the meat and received a second scope and it barely covered the bread. I had more bread and lettuce than tuna. Just recently went back and ordered a tuna and Italian. The tuna was great but the Italian, the meat was sliced so thin you can see right thru. The people that work there were shredding lettuce on the meat slicer and never changed the settings back. I really enjoy Jersey Mikes but may need some attention at this location. May want to retrain the weekend staff. The week day staff is great and the ones on the weekend cut corners and they don’t put enough on the subs. If this is the new way then it will hurt the business.
I would like to update my review and give credit to Ricky, he is outstanding with service and he is very good and ensuring the customers get what they want. I give him 5 stars and I can see that he has really changed the atmosphere and the service at this location. Read moreThis store at Winter Garden Village has been in steady decline for several months. My orders are almost always wrong, meaning they leave off several toppings on a regular basis. The staff seems overwhelmed and appear to be understaffed. I had to wait 20+ minutes for my sub past when it was supposed to be ready for pick up. The staff needs to be trained on food and utensile handling. The lady who went to cut my sandwich was going to use a knife she had picked up from a dirty counter right next to the register, with the same gloves she used to operate the register 🙄 until I stopped her and said please dont cut my sandwich. Read moreThis Jersey Mike's is broken. I've never had a great experience. Slow service even when properly staffed. This time was the worst. Watched an employee tackle the line himself, with one working the grill while the 3rd paced behind the line looking completely lost (sounded like there was a 4th but only heard them shuffling in the back). This all while the line continued to grow and people waited for much longer than it should take for cold or hot subs. Same guy in the line was knocking out subs then moving to cash register to check people out while the other guy still paced in the background doing nothing worthwhile.
