Just Salad — Restaurant in Winter Garden

Kudos to Just Salad! I’m a fan of Caesar and that’s my go to salad when I’m eating out; naturally, I got the chicken Caesar salad and didn’t change any of the ingredients. It was delicious and I found it had the perfect balance of all ingredients. Usually restaurants are crouton-heavy so I order without the croutons at other establishments but it’s not necessary here; this salad had the perfect amount. I got the cucumber-mint lemonade and it was refreshing, just not my favorite. We also got the strawberry lemonade and it was great. The chocolate chip cookie was full of chocolate chunks and the perfect dessert. We also ordered the honey crispy chicken wrap, buffalo cauliflower salad, chicken noodle soup, and 2 of the reusable Elmo bowls. They’re a hit! Everyone enjoyed their food and we all agreed that you can tell the entrees were made with the freshest ingredients. As a mom of kids with multiple food allergies, I was pleasantly surprised that each ordered item is mixed in its own, clean stainless bowl, lessening the risk of cross contamination. I love the ability to have "fast" healthy food (instead of high-grease junk), and Just Salad in Winter Garden Village is one of the very few options for tasty yet healthy counter service food! I stopped by yesterday for a late lunch at 1:45 and enjoyed ordering a Thai flavor salad with chicken (nice they allow you to state the amount of dressing you want... I saw they let you customize your salad in real time which is very cool). Delicious option and a super clean and pleasant restaurant. I found the service to be very friendly and helpful. My server Sabrina went out of her way to explain the ordering (because you can customize and select your own salad specifically, the menu can be confusing). She helped guide me so I could get a meal I would like and was very kind and patient. I loved my Thai salad, and I will go back, especially on days when I'm in a hurry but want to eat right. TONS of options at this restaurant (one of the reasons it's a large menu!), and I plan to try their warm bowls which looked delicious....

This place is a great concept and I know they are new. While they have very fresh ingredients, my husband went in a mentioned he had a food allergy to gluten to the gentleman preparing the salad and asked if a specific salad was gluten free safe. There was a sign right where you order to tell them if you have a food allergy. The employee looked very confused and proceeded to tell my husband he was sorry and didn't know. He walked away and we thought he was going to get a coworker or managers input but instead he just came back and said the dressings had a sign to identify those that were gluten free. We felt if he didn't know, he should have asked someone else per their sign. In addition they asked how we wanted the dressing and we both said medium. Mine came out good however my husband's came out swimming in dressing and he couldn't finish it as it was too overwhelming. We know this place is new and would like to give them...
