UPDATE on my case was that the manager of this location reached out with an offer for a free sub to comp my awful experience. Surely enough I beloved him. I gave it a week before I’d be calling him again to ask why I still haven’t received my bonus sub. He said it’s because it had to be entered in the system by a supervisor. I gave it another week and HERE WE ARE. No bonus sub no good apology followed by any explanation at all what took so long. I can tell everyone works REALLY efficiently at this location.
I’ve scheduled an online order yesterday for 7 pm. Got there at 7:08. It wasn’t in the pick up station, so I just wanted to check on it. No explanation was given to me, no apology for the delay. The nice gentleman at the register was trying to help but it looked like he was still in training. The girl who was doing the subs tried to help over the shoulder, however was very cranky and said my order wasn’t ready still. The young guy was just walking around paying no interest to what was going on. I had an online reward for a brownie which seemed to be an issue. Per young lady it was only possible to redeem the reward online which is ridiculous and untrue. After scanning my reward my points were taken which meant it did go through. The sandwich came out at 7:30 and there was a huge mixup with the orders. I saw tickets being printed for orders scheduled for 8 pm pick up. As for my order , which arrived super late with no apology nor explanation yet again, the bread was cold, there was no onion and the whole mass was just falling apart. Read moreI've eaten at this particular Firehouse Subs (and many others) for years. The food is always fresh, tasty and the team generally friendly and helpful, always trying to get your order right (and when they goof, they cheerfully make it right).
It might not be right, but I've got to take off 1 star because the app often doesn't work correctly - but seemingly only with this particular store (b'day offers for free sandwiches don't show up in the app, and they force you to use the app to claim... discounts offered via email, specifically for my app acct, don't show up in the ordering menu as they should). Never have had this issue at many other store I've eaten at, by ordering through the app.
But to their credit, this store has always tried to make good on whatever the issue is, it's just a hassle... I place a mobile order, and go inside to find that only my drink rang up on their printed receipt, despite having charged me for the sandwich and drink in the app. I literally waited 15-20 mins once, after my drink was already on the pick-up area, only b/c I thought it was so busy on a weekend... turns out, when I finally asked, they never had received the sandwich portion of my mobile app order I'd fully paid for. They, of course, made it right away, but again, something need to be corrected with this store's processing - it only happens to be at this particular store.
Overall, great food at a decent price, and so much better than most of the competition. Only other negative about this place (not related to the store itself) - parking SUCKS in this small lot, for way too many shops and places to eat! But the food and service is what keeps me...
Read moreSo, I get that not everyone can be on point all the time. But for 3 of the 4 people working this evening, is a bit much. Upon entering, we were hostilely welcomed by Robert who seemed to care less at all about his demeanor, personality or overall customer service attitude. My boyfriend and I felt very rushed when placing our order and that it was a huge inconvenience to even be there. When we received our food, the gentleman (didn't get his name) was aloof and also seemed rushed. Mind you, they weren't all too busy when we arrived or even 20 minutes after. When I opened my sandwich, everything I asked to not be on it, was. I looked at the receipt and it was entered in completely wrong. I took my sandwich and receipt to the counter and proceeded to talk to the next delight. I again, didn't get a name, but can say he looks like a Franco brother. He had me write down my order instead of taking the incorrect ticket. Cool, no problem. When he brought the food to me, he tossed it on the table, and I do mean tossed, along with a card for a free sub. 👍thanks This sub, also incorrectly made, but was more correct than the first time. So, all in all, I'm pretty sure I'm done trying with this place. This isn't the first time for such a less than appealing experience, but it will be the last. I don't typically complain, let alone, take food back for a remake and like to give the benefit of the doubt. This was enough for me though to write them off. There are plenty of places I can take...
