Updated 2/15/2023: To Go at Longhorn is the way to go. We’ve eaten in the restaurant but find that ordering online and picking up is actually faster then if we sit inside and eat. Yes, the food isn’t as hot but it’s convenient for a busy weeknight. Online ordering is easy to navigate and only takes 30 minutes. They send a text so you can enter your parking spot number on arrival and will bring your order out. Our order was packaged nicely and they included all the sauces and dressings as well as bread and butter. Everyone enjoyed their entrees and sides.
Dec 2022 Review:
We ate at Longhorn Steakhouse after a morning of shopping. It was a Saturday and there was about a 10 minute wait to be seated. It seems that they’re short staffed because there were many open tables and only 3 servers working.
Once seated it took about 10 minutes for our server to come and greet us and take our drink orders. We ordered drinks and appetizers and it took another 10 to receive our drinks. Our bread actually arrived before we got our drinks.
It took quite a while to get our apps, salads, and meals. If you’re looking for a slower paced meal, this is the place. We weren’t and were all pretty hungry because it was around 2 when we arrived. The food came out hot and was really good. I didn’t get many photos because I was hungry and forgot, lol. It’s worth the wait if you can remember they’re short staffed and be extremely patient. It seems that’s the case in many restaurants now.
We’ve ordered online and have done curbside pickup before and that’s the route we’ll take in the future at Longhorn. It’s so much easier to pick it up versus having a lunch that takes almost 2...
Read moreWe have been to other locations in the US. This one is one of the best we have seen. The service is certainly worth the 5 stars as we went on Valentine's day (2/14/22). The food also is worth it since the previous locations out of state are not as good as this one.
Here is what it was like for us...
We used the app to get on the wait list which worked out perfectly. You can show up but the wait for us was 50-60 minutes because of the holiday. It allowed us to manage our time and make the most of it which I praise Longhorn for this option.
From there we showed up, went to the host station, checked in, then had a small wait to finish out the 50-60 minutes. Olivia took us to our seat but I am mentioning her by name for a reason. She was amazing as she engaged in conversation, laughed at my dad jokes, and was all around great at customer service.
From there we had a little wait for Kiara, our server, who just echoed what Olivia was like. Showing us that this experience was going be one of the best...it certainly was! Kiara was helpful in recommendations, knowing drinks as well as food. Not only that she knows how to balance a busy night while delivering the best service!!!
We had ribeye steaks with baked potatoes and salads. We ordered appetizers (mushrooms) and dessert (strawberry cream cake). All of them were perfect!
To keep this short I certainly recommend this location and company for great food and service. We will be back soon....
Read moreMy wife and I frequent eat at Longhorn Winter Garden (monthly). We took our son and family their Saturday night for his birthday and it was our worst experience ever. The 2 runners brought out our 6 steaks and didn’t know what each steak was we couldn’t tell who it belongs to. They would say steak and potato but that’s what we all ordered just different steaks and sizes. We tried process of illumination I ordered my bake potato plain with extra butter but all steaks had a fully loaded potato. My wife ordered a Flo Fillet (which is the steak we usually get monthly) but none of the steaks looked like a Fillet. When everyone just took a steak because the runners were getting upset like it was our fault like we didn’t know what we ordered. My son spit out most of his steak and after showing it to the waitress and manager they apologized and saw his grissle (they said he just received a bad piece) and offered to make him another however the rest of the family was done eating and ready to go. It wouldn’t shock me if you realized you brought another tables order to my family. I understand it was Saturday night and very busy however I shouldn’t have to ask for extra bread if the first loaf disappears quickly. We also had to ask for refills on drinks and you lost the extra revenue on wine and beer that we would have...
