Beef 'O' Brady's — Restaurant in Winter Haven

I would not recommend going to the Winter Haven location. I went there 9/20/19 at 7 PM. The server was really nice. But the problem came after I received my food. I ordered a steak and the steak was a little over cooked and had no seasonings on it. I just didn't care for it. I really didn't care that much. I wasn't going to eat it. But I didn't want to send it back. My mother in told the server that my steak was over cooked and please send it back.

This is where the store manage came out very loud saying that there is nothing wrong with this steak. He made sure to get the whole restaurant attention. Causing silence in the restaurant and all eyes were on us. He went on to say "I'm not sure what you were expecting in this steak its medium rare.

By this time I'm super embarrassed. Mind you I didn't want to send it back in the first place. So I just balled up and said it's okay I'll eat it. The manager looked really mad and came off really aggressive. I was really surprised that this is the store manager. In my head I'm thinking this man does not have customer service skills at all.

Good food, consistent flavors. Wanted to warn that they aren’t the most accommodating for vegetarians. I’ve tried twice to order a Cuban Sandwich with meat on the side, and both times it was a fail. First time, got the order home and there had been no attempt, plus the cheese was in between the meat so not salvageable. Oh well, gave the sandwich to someone else and ate fries instead. Second attempt, gave more info over the phone… “it’s for a vegetarian, please put the meat on the side, blah blah blah” got there and saw it on the ticket, opened the box quick before I left and saw the meat was separate and headed home. Should have looked closer. Again, the cheese was in between the meat and the meat was hot, which tells me the sandwich was made and the meat and cheese removed as an afterthought. A bit frustrating, hence minus one star. I know it’s not a normal request, but “meat on the side” shouldn’t be any harder than “no mustard” or “curly fries instead of straight. Put a lot of thought into who should have the best corned beef & cabbage while I was traveling on St. Patrick’s day and chose Beef’s for the name. Horrible mistake. The corned beef was thin sliced from a loaf just like you’d get at a supermarket deli for sandwiches. And I get it’s your busiest day of the year, but the paper plates and plastic silverware just added to the regret. I was still hungry after the skimpy dinner so I ordered wings. They were equally as bad because there was no discernible flavor with barely any visible Parmesan garlic sauce. And they were tough like they were cooked earlier in the day. Even the celery was sorry and never should have been sent to a customer. The photos will show it all. And finally, nobody had any sense to shut off the inside Irish themed music while the outside DJ in the parking lot party tent was blaring pop hits that drowned out everything inside.
