I have been a loyal Dutch Bros customer since the Davenport location first opened, and I truly enjoy the drinks and overall brand experience. Because of that, Iâve been giving the new Winter Haven location some grace as they get established. However, I want to share some feedback about my most recent visit.
Today, I stopped by to try the new drinks and expected a long line, but I did not expect to spend 55 minutes in the drive-thru. Waiting that long is concerning, especially since it took about 8 minutes just to have my order takenâwhich was understandable given there was only one employee handling both lanes. However, when I finally reached the window, my drinks still werenât ready.
During this time, one of the employees expressed frustration about having to work, which felt unprofessional to hear as a guest. I also asked if the store was short-staffed, and the response I received was that part of the kitchen had been closed early so the team wouldnât have to close it later, allowing them to leave sooner. Since this was around 7 p.m. and the store doesnât close until 11 p.m., this explanation was disappointing and gave the impression of poor service and lack of effort.
Even at the window, the employee seemed more focused on chatting than on handing over my completed drinks. I had to ask for my drinks and straws before leaving.
To be clear, the drinks themselves were excellent, and thatâs why I continue to come back. However, compared to the Davenport locationâwhich consistently provides quick and friendly service even when busyâthis experience fell short. Having worked in fast food myself, I know the challenges that come with busy drive-thrus, but a nearly hour-long wait combined with unprofessional service is...
Read moreDutch Bros makes me soo happy- and now they have one in Winter Haven?! Wow, I am over the moon!!
If you havenât been to a Dutch Bros, I feel for you. If you have, then you surely understand. Yes, itâs a chain coffee place but to me it still stands out from others. They primarily just serve coffee & fcruity energy fizz drinks, not much else. Definitely not any sustainable food but they donât need to.
Their coffee is just good. Itâs sweet, though you can adjust the sweetness level, they have a nice variety of flavors, and such cute branding. I am especially a fan of when they have the holiday menu out- that gingerbread latte or peppermint mocha is to die for!
This new location is so nice! Itâs the first Dutch Bros Iâve seen with an actual indoor area to sit in. Itâs very bare bones and doesnât have much personality (the outside is much more fun to look at) but it still works if you donât want to wait in those crazy drive-thru lines- iykyk.
The whole building seems to be a âgarageâ style, which is pretty cute. We did try the salted caramel latte and it was a good coffee but youâd never know it was supposed to be caramel. Just tasted like a plain latte so that needed work but if we didnât know it was supposed to be caramel itâd be marvelous. They also have coffee drinks that use chocolate milk for the dairy part and WOW. Itâs such a nice unique change in taste and I am a huge fan.
Another thing to love here are the prices. So much more reasonable than most coffee shops- you arenât paying $8 for a small coffee here. If you pay that much, you get a large size thatâs actually a large. So glad that Dutch Bros has come to central FL, though it...
Read morejust left after about my 5th time trying this place. i swear every rebel tastes the exact same no matter what flavors i try. the lattes always taste like they were premade hours beforehand and sitting in a fridge to be watered down. literally LaCroix if it were coffee. the workers are friendly donât get me wrong but omg iâve had the weirdest experiences talking with these workers. on one occasion, i came with a friend and we simply asked which drink was which flavor because we ordered rebels with boba (just different syrups in the drinks). the colors were the same so we simply asked which one was which. the girl at the window could not fathom what we were asking of her. she brings over another worker. he then asked us âso which doesnât have boba?â. we persisted in telling him they BOTH have boba but we werenât sure which flavor was which. this was a mistake of a question because then they were asking to take the drinks back and remake them (???) all we wanted to know was which drink was which. we ended up just driving away with no answer. and no the flavors were not written on the cup. of course i want to give them grace as they are newly opened but this was a simple question not only one but two workers couldnât understand. lord have mercy. just another note, it is so awkward to be asked a bunch of irrelevant questions when just trying to order a drink. this is not the place u want to come if u need to...
