N'grano — Restaurant in Winter Park

What a great place. The place itself looks great but maybe a bit too pristine, it almost makes you feel like you should not touch anything. That is where the friendly staff comes in. The young lady said hello to me as i entered. She offered as many samples as i wanted, as she showed me the bite size samples that we being distributed. She also gave a quick description of each. Then add i walked looking, she brought me tongs and a lined try to put my bread and confections on. They also have a display case with cakes the are so beautiful and unique looking, they all just scream out to be posted on Instagram. A 2nd employee was behind the counter to answer questions and process transactions. She was also smiling, offered help and had a thorough knowledge of the wonderful creating in the long display case. The also offer cappuccino and tea and other beverages along with limited seating areas. The seating areas are placed around the outer perimeter with dimmer lighting which gave them a bit of privacy as they almost blended in. They are also open until 9pm which I found to be quite interesting usually establishments like this are open in the morning and tend to close in the afternoon. Everything that I brought home was delicious especially the items at the girls recommended to me. Overall great tasting and unique baked items along with enthusiastic and knowledgeable employees who are a pleasure to interact with and a great-looking establishment hopefully equals a winning recipe because from what I saw this establishment is deserving of the hype that it's received and should be a smashing success in Winter Park. I was told they plan on opening more locations with dr. Phillips being the next location - both cities demand not just good food but also stellar service and uniqueness - cookie cutter establishments just don't cut it anymore. Why I won't be going to this tous les jours... First time going to this location, And it will be the last. I've passed the location many times as I do errands in winter Park often, and I knew the brand from living in NYC. I was excited to see a location now that I live in FL. The place was completely empty. You know that Wonderful smell of fresh baked pastries you smell when you enter a bakery.... They don't have that here. They didn't have the pastry I wanted to try either, which was a caramel apple pastry. I ordered to go a slice of cake but I could tell it was old. Why? Because I'm a pastry chef, and strawberries are very perishable. It's easy to see. I asked to get a fresh one, and paid, and they said they would give me a fresh one from the back but lo and behold, they gave me the same old one that was on display. I asked if they could cut one as there were whole strawberry cakes available and they said no. At this point I already had paid the $6.50 for a very small slice of cake. So I got the mango instead. It wasn't great. The pieces of mango inside were not ripe. All and all not a good experience at all. Far from what I remember in NYC. I should have just cancelled the order, and walk away. One of My Favorite Bakeries – Pastry Heaven! ☁️

I first discovered this gem in Charlotte and instantly fell in love with their unique French-Asian pastries. So, when I found out they had a location in Winter Park, I knew I had to visit again!

📍The spot: The café is cozy, minimalistic, and beautifully white. It’s the perfect spot to catch up with a friend, enjoy a casual date, or simply treat yourself. Seating is indoor only, but it’s comfortable and inviting.

What We Ordered:

Strawberry Cloud Cake – Amazing! So light and fluffy, it really does taste like a cloud. Strawberry Tiramisu – Rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. Iced Ube Latte – Really enjoyed this! It’s unsweetened by default, so you can adjust the sweetness to your liking.

🙋🏼‍♀️The Service: The staff is friendly and welcoming. You order at the counter and they call your name when your order is ready. Quick and efficient!

🅿️Parking: Convenient—there’s a parking lot available.

💭Final Thoughts: While I slightly prefer the Charlotte location, this one is still nice. I recommend going earlier in the day for the freshest selection and wider variety. The cakes here are especially worth trying—they’re consistently flavorful and beautifully made.
