Atmosphere: 7/10 -I found the building to be quite cold. It was a very hot day today well unto the 80s so naturally im in a tshirt and shorts and it felt like the AC was on like high 60s low 70s [im a big dude so its not an issue of not having alot of insulation]
They had plenty of tvs in the room some had weird light spots it looked like there was dots of light casting on the screens but I couldn't locate the source and they were in different locations so itd need to be a pretty big source
Music was nice I found the volume was perfect.
Staff: 6/10 -not as knowledgeable as you'd hope when asked if the tables st their both were stuck in place or if they moved the hostess was unsure a quick glance told me they were
I did find the staff quite friendly but also felt like the server didn't touch tables as much as he could have. The restaurant was pretty slow and I spent quite some time with an empty cup specially placed where you could see at a glance it was empty but my server didn't notice and I had to make the request with the person that delivered the food so id say 12-14 minutes
Food: 5.5/10 -we ordered pork dumplings and fried calamari to start. Whilst very tasty the dumpling squirted superheated just into my lip and shirt and conversely the calamari wasn't nearly as hot and was mildly warm to the touch
I ordered the tips and tenders and honestly felt like I didn't get enough fries or tenders like if I had 2 more tenders or double the fries I'd have felt like that was a good portion but as is not really like ur not going to walk away as hungry as u came in
But the rib tips were very disappointing it was clear these aren't marinated or well seasoned got mines medium and it was quite dry and just had the flavor of being cooked over a charcoal grill. Which isn't awful its just quite basic
Drinks: 4/10: I don't drink very often by my gf does partake and ordered a drink that was recommended she found it to be quite strong and when I tried a sip my immediate words were "this hits all the right taste buda in the absolutely worst...
Read moreI came out on a relatively quiet night to watch the Edmonton Oilers play the Panthers however, I decided to try the chicken Parmesan with vodka sauce and ziti. The portion was adequate, and the food was very good very well made tasty and the only issue I would have to say was when asking about a small piece of garlic bread to go along. I was informed that for an additional fee that they could provide what they call a garlic, knot . So I ordered the mail and enjoyed it greatly however I wanted a second knot Of garlic and was done informed that it would be again an additional charge!! Considering that the mail itself is $23 without any additions I think it’s highly unfair to not provide at least the first one complementary I can see after that point charging the guest . I spoke to Michael a manager. He was extremely pleasant, responsive and kind, but he also informed me that this was corporate idea. Haven’t been a manager for several years in downtown Boston throughout Faneuil hall I would expect that you drop that first charge as people simply like to have some garlic with an Italian meal. It left me feeling that corporate greed on the bottom line or a little more important than the customer experience that should not be the case!!! Again, recognizing Michael is a great manager, however you need to either reduce the price of the meal itself or include the first Garlic knot! Lindsay was also excellent...

Decided to give this place a try even after reading some of the reviews. Ordered steak tips and several other items. The steak tips were ordered as "medium well" and arrived straight up raw but burnt on the outside (see my photo).
I called the place and was put on hold for ten minutes after asking politely for a refund. Then I was told I needed to call back the next day for a refund "because it's company policy to wait one business day". When I asked to speak to the manager I was then put on hold for another ten minutes. Finally, when he got on the phone he told me he cannot refund my steak tips because the payment processing takes 24 hours and that I need to call again tomorrow; and he also told me that this was not the first complaint they've had tonight because they are "short staffed and rushing on orders". That was a weird thing for him to say directly to me, but that's what he said.
I'll be giving them a call tomorrow on principle to get a refund.
The only good thing out of my entire order was the funnel cake fries. The mac and cheese, French dip, and chili I got all tasted bland.
EDIT: Called back today and was told "we don't do refunds over the phone". When I questioned that I was put through to a manager, who then refunded me and apologized. I'm glad my problem is fixed now, but the entire experience left me very hesitant to ever try this...
