Well it wasn't a great experience but I guess it could have been worse. We came in a little more than an hour before closing. It probably took us 15 minutes to be ready to order, not the server's fault we were just slow to make a decision, that still left us over 45 minutes to receive food and eat. Food took a little while to get there and while we were waiting two female servers got into a heated argument about who would take the table that just came in, still 20+ minutes until closing. I get it no one wants the late table but maybe the middle of the dining room isn't the best place to cuss each other over this. Anyway so our food comes and unfortunately our server rang mine in wrong. If it was something I would have eaten I would just kept it but it was something I really hate. No problem the server rang it again correctly said about 5 minutes...my whole family ate their meals and finished, still no food, lights were turned off at 8:58, I guess to indicate last call...still no food. Thankfully lights were turned back on a minute later but I was so tired and done at this point I asked if we could just cancel that food and get our check. By the time he was able to do that the food was up. It was seafood so taking it to go wasn't appealing and we hadn't even been in our hotel room to know if it had a microwave or anything (plus no one wants to smell that). I didn't want to hear anymore from the already fussy female servers or be the cause for our server to have to stay even longer (we watched him work his butt off while we were there). All in all server was good even with his mistake, food was mediocre at best (I tried food from everyone's plate while waiting), it was just a poor...
Read moreWhat can I say. I have written a number of reviews and it is just what you'd expect. Decent food at a decent price. And they are all pretty much the same. EXCEPT the Billerica 99 with a manger named Missy Young who is a very nasty piece of work. We left after her arguing with us over the American with Disabilities act. We were 4 disabled vets and a service dog, but we were given a very bad time about the dog. The surprising part was I had eaten at this branch at least 20 times and had the dog with us 4 or 5 previous times with no issues. So I will not set foot in that branch, but overall the chain is good and accomodating. We did sent them a copy of the act as it pertains to service dogs, and was advised to take legal action by a VA rep., but I didn't, and also got no response to my email. Anyway, they are recovering like all restaurants do to covid and the limited munu is getting less...
Read moreI had the Chopped Sirloin, as they call it, and it literally was THE BEST steak I've ever had at a restaurant. That's including The Capitol Grille, Ruth Cris, and the like. And just a note, this steak isn't chopped up, it's a full steak. I ordered it medium rare and it was so tender I could cut it easily with my fork and it literally melted in my mouth!! Unfortunately you can only partake in this delectable piece of meat Monday thru Wednesday... So I'm stuck waiting for Monday to come... I'm terms of my review, the good was AMAZING, our waitress kept coming over to us every 3 mins for our order, something I can't stand, and the atmosphere was typical 99s... Loud and sorry of annoying. But I'll go there any day and deal with all that just to get another taste of that...
