Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Wood Village

Ok so my husband and I used to go here years ago and we loved it, the staff was amazing food was great and the price wasn’t too bad. Well now ehhh not good anymore. The last few times the service is not good anymore wait is long which is understandable with covid and staffing so we’ve been patient. However, we did a post mates order and I know to call into the place to make sure they see the notes to basically tell them please read it… we always need extra sauce and I hate ice in my soda so I make sure they get this right. I’ve adjusted myself knowing how crazy food service can be so this is ok. Well I called and called every time someone would answer , say nothing and then hang up. Other times they just wouldnt answer at all.. maybe it was super busy not sure. Half any hour later finally got someone on the phone to make sure they saw the notes on the order, they looked it up was very nice and told me they would make sure to get it right. Hahaha ya I got 8 containers of ranch with them only being filled a third of the way full! The other sauces of spicy garlic and southeastern was full so why not the ranch?! So I called them, I’m so tired of food joints doing this, they were very nice I wasn’t rude just annoyed and I told them this. They said I need to report it to Postmates and I said yes I know and I will but I’m calling so that a real person will get this message. If I pay for a product I expect it to be full not a 1/3 of the way full. I said this isn’t just you guys it’s everywhere and I have no clue why but please just fill them up it’s ridiculous and a waste of containers. I put three of the ranches into one container that’s a huge waste. They told me that they would let a manager know, I’m not so sure this will happen considering I heard them laugh right before they hung up. My husband and I used to get 30 wings, cheese curds, veggies and sauces and a soda for $45 now it’s over $60 and the soda was $4 that’s outrageous! I ordered four things of veggies two carrots and two celery each were $.99 and I only got two celery sticks and a few baby carrots that’s honestly just awful! And sad. The cheese curds were cold I kinda was worried about that sense it was delivery. Anyways the service is going down hill the food is not so good anymore the price is outrageous and the ranch issue just makes me super annoyed and I don’t think we will be spending $60 anymore here. Sad to say but I think it’s time to find another wing joint. I know covid has been hard I too work in food service but there is just no excuse… good luck guys hope you can turn it...

Please don't go to this BWW, it's worth the extra 5 miles to go to the Cascade Station BWW. Management here is rude, everyone here seems miserable, and recently the service here blows. I love BWW, I got 2-3 times a month. My two most recent experiences there were terrible. The first time my food came out with a missing flavor. But the strange thing was the flavor was labeled on the plate and I can see the sauce on the plate, but the wings were missing. Seems like they had it there once but needed it more for someone else so just took them off. I told my server about this and he brought out new wings, but he didn't seem happy about it.

Last week was the worst experience ever. We ordered food and cocktails. The cocktails took 30 minutes to come out (for 4 people) and they were not the drinks we ordered. Upon telling our server about this she tried to defer blame and said this is what we ordered. The bartender came out and when we told him what we ordered he said they discontinued the drink but the ones we have has the same alcohol content. SO? That's not what we ordered...another attempt of this BWW trying to sell me something I didn't want. Would bringing me a shot rather than my cocktail be appropriate just because it has the same amount of alcohol? Of course not. We canceled the drinks and got beers instead, which took another 10 minutes. This whole drinks thing took 45 minutes and yet appetizers and food didn't come out yet.

About an hour after the order was made our cold appetizers but pretty decent wings came out. We were so hungry. But none of the sides, bluecheese or ranch came out. We asked for silverware, boats, and our sides to come out. We began to dig in and were literally was almost done with our wings when the veggies and dips came out.

I guess we got our drinks comped and the food filled us up...so all is forgivable right? We asked for our check and without getting into too much details, it took us 40 minutes to pay from the moment we asked for the check to when I finally get to walked out the door. It was so slow and frustrating.

And I don't think I've ever seen the night manager there smile. This obviously is contagious to his team. I don't think I'll ever come back...

This is the 1st time I went to this BWW. I brought a friend and it was his 1st time at any BWW. When we got there there were folks waiting outside. We went in and asked how long was the wait. We were offered the bar area for immediate seating so we went there. We were there waiting for over 15 minutes before we were asked if we wanted drinks. 5 minutes prior we asked one server if we had to go to the bar to order because we saw the servers walking around and helping other customers. She pointed to another person and said she was our server and would come help us. Then a woman came and asked for our drink order. Then the woman we told was our server brought our drinks.

When we finally were asked for our food order, my friend and I asked about the cheese that goes on the nachos. I asked if we could get a sample of the salsa and the hatch cheese so he could tell if it was too spicy for him. I've been at other BWWs and was provided samples in those tiny condiment cups, but in this case, we were told that they don't have samples and she would have to charge us for the sample. I asked 3 times because it was unbelievable. My friend then said nevermind and ordered something else. It was then 30 minutes before the food came.

I later saw the same server quickly serving and attending the tables of folks who came in later than my friend and I. We both noticed that her demeanor changed when it was time for us to leave, and she became friendly.

I dont know if this server was having a bad day, if she was being discriminatory, or what. That's what I'm not calling out her name. Either way, if this was my first time at BWW, I wouldn't go back to one, but because I know service is better at other locations I will just not be returning to the location.

Honestly, the service was so bad, I almost just left the $$ for the drinks on the table...
