Open 24-hours (on Burnside in Gresham) and at certain other locations, which is rare these days, and makes it nice when it gets late and you've got a craving for late-night munchies.. Menu food is similar to other fast food places, except their Chicken Tenders are actually higher quality, and their Milkshakes are hand-made with real ice cream (Tip: definitely try their Oreo shake)! They also typically have a 'special' limited-time sandwich/meal of some kind as well, which is nice to mix things up, and periodically changes to something new. (Note: their pricing is definitely somewhat high compared to other fast-food places, so your order will add up pretty quickly if you're not careful).. LIFE SAVERS. I came in at 6:99pm for some ice cream and French toast, when all of a sudden a little 4 year old boys starts to choke on his food, his mother screamed “HELP, HELP CAN ANYONE SAVR MY BABY, a young man by the name of RJ swooped in followed by his close friend David, and preformed the Heimlich maneuver on the young child saving his life. The child’s mother exclaimed “THANK YOU, Thank you young handsome men for coming to my aid in my time of crisis, for I am a single mother and barely make ends meet” to witch RJ responded “May I take your hand in marriage my fair lady, for I may help you with your young offspring and provide food on your table.” The young mother in shock said “YES, the man of my dreams, YES I WILL MARRY YOU.” This was by far the best experience I have had at a carls.JR in a long time. Deceptive business practice. I drove through and ordered a combo. They asked if I wanted "medium or large". Assuming those were the only options I said "medium". When paying I was charged more than the advertised price. I asked why and they said "because you ordered a medium". When I asked why I was not offered the regular, I was told this is how management instructed the employees to respond to the requested order. I told them that was pretty deceptive, and they shrugged.

Update: Dear owner, admitting improvements are needed would imply that the complaint was based on cleanliness, or friendliness. My complaint is regarding deceptiveness.
