McDonald's — Restaurant in Woodbridge Township

Former Review- Horrible customer service at the drive thru. Attitudes and then the order isn’t even right. I drive out of my way to the Avenel location because it’s this bad. I won’t even get into the discussion between me and a 19 year old manager over a Coke that looked like weak iced tea, let’s just say he either refused to change out the soda syrup when it wasn’t busy or he didn’t know how to and that’s a problem. But it’s not just this last time 3 months ago, it’s been that way the past year and a half I’m afraid to say. I’m usually not a big one to complain but I’ve spoken to quite a few others who feel the same way about this location. I won’t give 1 star because I know how that can screw you guys up but please change!! Updated review- This place has completely changed around!! I gave it a shot last week and it’s mostly new staff and only the good previous workers working and everyone and everything was a complete 180. Everyone was friendly, attentive and my order and soda was fresh and was that perfect Coca Cola that you can only get at McDonalds. What can I really say about " MICKEY D's " ? It's just the run of the mill chain burger joint that we goto when funds are scarce. Its expected that we wait for our food, " because it is now individually cooked"... Mickey D's dont give me that line, no matter when I've gone there, there is always a wait. So far in my 52 years on earth, I can say that I've visited only 2 of the thousands of locations in the US that truly gave a damn.. One location was in Elkton Maryland and the other was in a tiny town in Georgia off of Rt 95.. Who remembers mustard / ketchup combo on the burgers ? These are the only 2 locations that were happy about their customers and made the burgers to order.. I know what's the difficulty on making burgers in mass quantities, but when itcame to these particular locations, they were tops when listening made the difference. Disgusting!!!!!! I ordered a large fries through drive up. However I brought them inside because it was a very small amount in the container. The cashier took them to the drive up cashier and she took the fries and threw them back in the basket with all the other fries. I could tell that the inside cashier realized that the girl was wrong but didn't get the manager. So when she attempted to give me another large fries I immediately called the manager and told him what happened.

I was thoroughly disgusted because I had put that original fries in my mouth and ate one prior to bringing them inside. So all I could think was that they didn't immediately shut down the fry area. Also how many other customers brought back in wrong orders and they placed that good back on the shelf for another client.
