So, I'm sure you've heard people raving about this place.... right? I mean, I dont know why people wouldn't. They sell the absolute best chicken strips. (I know, I know, "Chicken strips? Really?" YES!) The chicken is perfectly breaded and melts in your mouth. They also have this certain sauce they serve with everything, it is so freaking good! And the toast they give you... I could probably eat a whole loaf, I swear. SO buttery and delicious. Perfect outer crust with the softest center... (satisfying mouthwatering taste) Their meals also come with fries and coleslaw. I've never liked cole slaw, so I'm not sure if theirs is good to someone who enjoys eating it. Their fries, however, were great also. I was stealing some off a friends plate when they weren't looking while I was waiting for my food to be ready. I guess that is the only downside to going to cane's. There's usually a line and you have to wait for your food to be called out to you. But! Totally worth it. Another thing I think worth mentioning is their lemonade. I'm not a fan of lemonade either, so I've never tried it, but they make their own (I'm told) and it's (apparently) the best lemonade ever. I usually go with the sweet tea anyway. It's always good! Lastly, the price. It is, after all, fast food. If they doubled their prices, I'd still pay it (to be completely honest) because they are just that good! The menu isnt long, so there isn't much room for them to screw anything up or make mistakes. You probably would wait a lot longer at a restaurant anyway. They do have a drive-thru (at least the one I went to) and I'm guessing that's why there's usually a very anticipated wait time for when you get your food. If you're at all hesitant about going here, just try it out. What've you got to lose?
Edited I forgot to add, their place is named after the original owner's dog! How can you hate a place that's named...
Read moreOn Dec 15, 2024, I went through the driv-thru at the Woodbury location for Raisin' Caines, and like most people, I paid with my bank card. That was the only transaction where someone else was handling my card where it was NOT visible. The next day, 12/16, I was at my place of employment in Burnsville, MN, when I received a notification at 1:51pm that my debit card had been used to make an online purchase at the Target in Brooklyn Center for $11.88. I immediately contacted my bank to alert them to this fraudulent transaction, and while canceling my card, they informed me that when this happens, the thief will make a small purchase to see what happens and hope to get away with it, then they proceed to make larger purchases until they have depleted all the funds in my account. I have been paying with cash at the Woodbury location of Raisin' Caines ever since. FYI, I can identify this female employee. Then, on Monday, February 17th, I again, went through the drive-thru at this location (my mother likes their food, I do not) and paid for my $22.81 bill with $40 cash. A male employee handled my transaction and gave me back $15.18. When I realized he short-changed me, I honked my horn, but he ignored me. So, I kept honking until he was forced to address me because I wasn't moving forward. When I explained in a polite and non-confronting manner that he short-changed me, he shot me the dirtiest look, slammed the drive-thru window, ( because how dare I bother him with such a trivial matter), and then proceeded to radio the manager to open his cash drawer. He then handed me the amount I was owed and, again, shot me a dirty look. When I asked him why he was upset with me when I was simply asking for my correct change, he again slammed the window and refused to answer me. Unfortunately, I am going to have to go out of my way to a different location to get food from Raisin'...
Read more2 of the last 4 times I’ve been through the drive thru my order has been wrong. The 1st time I was shorted 1 chicken finger in a caniac combo. I didn’t do anything about it since I was already back at my house before I realized. Today after I went through the drive thru I stopped and checked the order in the parking lot before I drove home. I had ordered a canaic combo, I only had 5 tenders instead of 6 and had no Texas toast! I went back inside up to the counter and the gal asked me what was wrong and I told her. She then asked for my receipt- which is totally fine. But then she opened my box of food and started counting my chicken tenders- which is also fine assuming you replace my whole meal. She then looked at me and asked what else were you missing? I said “Texas toast, there is no Texas toast in there!” She said oh ok and went and told the crew in back to get 1 tender and 1 Texas toast. I was expecting a whole new meal since by this point my meal had been 10 minutes old. When the food came up she just handed it to me without even checking to see if it was right this time, and gave me a half hearted apology. So I had to open the new box up and make sure my tender and toast were in there- which they were. So I left with 2 boxes, my original meal being 10 minutes old. The food was good, but the coke I had was filled with at least 3/4 ice maybe even more. I’ve been to Canes more than 100 times, the large drink is always more than I can drink. This time I was out of coke before my meal was finished. What a joke! I believe I should’ve gotten a brand new Fresh meal and some coupons for next time before I left the store. I’m very leery of going back to this location. I used to go to the Apple Valley location and I don’t think my order...
