2nd time there, 1st time service and food didn't meet expectations, dover was not cooked correctly and was done wrong table side, the waitress was not trained leaning over food with hot pink hair was gut wrenching, got the Tomahawk steak and was highly disappointed .salad was terrible, and bread is like cold store brought hawian rolls, food was not hot had to send back the soup was not hot stuck my hand in there to show it was not hot, barwly warm.. french onion was good but a bit to sweet.1st time, I was there close to closing time, the manager very non chalant but quickly handled the issue without asking, so I went again at the start of shift, no difference. The service is not friendly, very stiff. They charge 5 dollars for steak sauce which is insane if I pay 120 for a steak with no sides, the staff is not trained on the menu very young and inexperienced they dont have you cut into the steak to make sure your happy, the biggest concern is them getting plates off the table to have for new tables. I had to send my food back again not hot, I asked rhe manager to feel a piece of meat then she can toss she refused I wanted her to see it was cold, also no flavor, they don't have salt and pepper at table and they have to grind the pepper for u.. the prices are so high for lack of season, inexperienced staff and stiff service, I wanted to be happy but they do not deliver overall. They should have fresh bread, complimentary steak sauce besides A1, no fresh croutons for salad, firebird food taste way better and the prices are not as expensive , I dine at top notch restaurants often marble room, hyde park, ruth chrid, CO, Ml tavern, Giovanni even red, and the food is hot and worth the price, I mentioned firebird because the prices are half the price but food and steaks are excellent. I don't think this place will be open another year, the food don't match the price.. they charge ruth chris prices w food similar to Applebee's.. I wanted to have a good experience the 2nd time you don't even smell food, lack of presentation, lack of garnish, just not good, price is not an issue for good food. The manger is so dry, 2nd time, no smile, no re check in just stiff, she did handle the first situation however comping food is not always the solution, get to the core, staff need to be trained, cooks need to be trained they need some consultants in there to assist with the execution or this place will sink, even when they took the comp picture they didn't say smile, service very robotic, Chris was not my server but he was AWESOME he know how to give excellent service the staff need to take notes from that guy. The ambiance is good but food and...
Read moreThis was my 2nd time frequenting this establishment. I genuinely enjoyed it. Each time we've encountered an issue that they readily address and resolve. That goes far with me! Our waitress was amazing. She was helpful in my drink decision by offering her rake on certain ingredients and also in our choice of aide items. We ordered everything she suggested. We were not disappointed in either item. My husband's drink was An Apple A Day. It tasted like a regular margarita but with apple flavoring. I had a regular margarita 🍹 because that just always seem to work for me. It was delicious 😋 We both ordered steaks. Ribeye for him. Filet for me. It was suggested to butterfly 🦋 the filet. Ok. Well done. The ribeye was prepared perfectly 👌🏽 My filet was very pink inside. I sent it back. 2nd time, it was 50% well, 50% pink. Ok. I'll just take it home and fix it. My waitress didn't like that i had to doctor up my steak so she had it removed from my bill and offered me dessert on them. That was nice and greatly appreciated 👏🏽 💐 I definitely don't mind paying $70 for my steak. I love steak so I expect to pay for my fine dining experience. However, for that same reason, I want it prepared to my specifications. I am grateful that she felt the same sentiment without me asking. That ribeye on on point tho! No issues. And the flavoring/seasoning on both steaks were great. We ordered 3 sides because we couldn't narrow it down after listening to our waitress. We got mac-n-cheese, steak fries, and snap peas 🫛 Each 1 was amazing. The mac-n-cheese was a smoked gouda mac so you know it levels it up a bit. Gouda can be a lot alone but it was done well here. The snap peas 🫛 had like some chilli 🌶 flakes tossed in for additional flavor. It worked. I think it was also a few spinach leaves thrown in too. The steak fries were good. Not spectacular but definitely flavorful. Would I return here?...
Read moreNeed to say my husband and I were here shortly after they opened and had a less than stellar experience and it was noticed by manager ( owner) but we didn’t want anything like so many people do - we just vowed to ourselves that probably won’t be back. In fairness it was right after they opened. I have been following the reviews and wanted a great steak house for my nephews birthday so decided to try it again 2 years later.
Best meal I have had in Cleveland ( or anywhere) in such a long time. The onion soup is decadent! Amazing. Had the American wagu Hangar steak and the flavor and texture was awesome. My nephew has a filet with two sauces. He is a food aficionado and was blown away. Love love love the marrow on the plate ! Never had hangar steak before. Can’t wait to have again. And the hash browns are a must. Actually can’t go wrong with anything it seems.Heck the butter with exotic salts and rolls are amazing. And our server Laney was not only so knowledgeable on the menu but made A+ recommendations that we followed and were glad we did. She was guest service at its best. Beyond impressed with this restaurant and their staff. Also watched the manager keep an eye on everything and help each server when needed. Great management.Cannot wait to return with my husband. Lesson learned - give a restaurant at least six months after they open to gain their stride. And boy did this...
