Greenwald Antiques — Attraction in Woodmere

I cannot speak highly enough about Ron Greenwald and his store. Recently I bought a relatively expensive perfume bottle set as a gift for my wife. It was one of a kind. When I got it home I noticed a small chip on one of the bottles. Ron said to return it immediately for a full refund if I did not want it. Antiques are usually sold "as is". Ron was under no obligation to return my money, yet he did. In addition to Ron, his store is definitely a rare find. If you're looking for the perfect piece to accent something in your home or business, I doubt you'll be disappointed stopping by.

It's been a year and I can definitely say Ron Greenwald and his store offer a more pleasant experience than ever. Something I thought impossible. Walking into his store is like entering a museum only everything is for sale. Regardless of whether you purchase anything, Ron treats you like his best friend. Attended an estate sale they were handling today. Would give no stars but there was 1 nice staffer upstairs working - kind, patient and friendly. The staffer - Lana- who was working in the walk in closet was clearly overwhelmed, rude and indignant. Asked the price of something and proceeded to tell me where the price tag was and she saw it there, blah blah blah. Ok. Well it’s not on there, so how much is it? Again, just told me where it was. I told her it felt like she was accusing me of taking it off. And then she just gaslit me from there. When I asked about prices in 2 other rooms - upstairs and the library - I did not receive this treatment. It was a huge sale. I understand some things get missed or tags misplaced, whatever. I hope others don’t have this experience - especially at an estate sale of this caliber where price tags are high but also customers are paying it, so do better for your customers. Lead...

Ron and his staff are carrying on the fine service establishec by his mother June years ago ... Ron recently purchased a number of antiques which we were not able to use as an elderly family member downsized ... His pricing was beyond fair and he even offered to research the worth and different auction venues re a painting by a very well known artist as to make sure if we decide to sell optimum results not expecting any type of commission ... I also know his house sales are the finest around ... And BTW ... We drive a Rav 4 ... Thank You Thank You...
