I had some free time yesterday while in Worcester, waiting for my fiancé, who was at a dentist appointment. So his cousin & I decided to take a walk around to kill time. We came upon La Central & decided to go in, as it was a place I'd never been to or heard of. I have lived in Worcester previously for a time back in 2010, I now live almost an hour away. Anyhow, the minute we walked in, we noticed that this place smelled heavenly & we were eager to see what they had available for food. The variety was amazing! Menu selections all sounded wonderful. Prices reasonable. The lady behind the counter greeted us warmly & was very courteous & sweet. My fiancés' cousin chose cheesecake (a whole one for him to split with his Mother, but I believe they may also have slices). I had trouble deciding, so I went with the chicken croquettes (2) & beef empanada (2). These were to share with my fiancé. I also knew I couldn't leave without adding something sweet, so I grabbed a box of (4) brigadeiro. Everything here is just as delicious as it smells! The service was fantastic. It was also a very comfortable & clean setting. They do have restrooms available for customers also. We were very impressed & do plan on returning next time we're in the city of Worcester. Awesome family owned business. They also have numerous pastries, fresh breads, sandwiches, including panini & much more! See for yourself. Ground level & wheelchair accessible. Appropriate setting for both adults & children. Love it & can't wait to try more of what they have to offer! Located right on Main Street. Note: my photos include two from the inside & one of me sitting outside, enjoying one of their...

Also, the boiled egg was overcooked, shown by the greenish ring around the pale yellow yolk. The salad was plated in a nice way. Typically I've gotten it mixed together, but I'm not a cook, so not sure what's right.
Returned it back to the cashier, told her that it didnt come with mixed greens, she brought it to the kitchen after being unclear about what i meant by mixed greens versus lettuce. She came back saying they don't have mixed greens, only what's available in kitchen. Also they are the new owners and haven't...
Read moreokay. I still go but food is hit or miss. The dulce de leche donuts were really good when fresh, but I have been served 3 weird smelling old stale donuts and 1 COLD empanada (which made me write this because I was surprised the chicken empanada is cold. Meat itself is cold) I still buy food from here though because there are not a lot of options in the area. I also tried their lunch special but it wasn’t anything special and it took more than 30 mins to wait for it, I won’t be buying that again. I’ll just come back for the donuts and empanadas and hopefully...
