Once again, Mozelle's has surpassed my expectations! The personal touches for the cakes, cupcakes and sweets that Tamara puts together is thoughtful, meaningful and absolutely scrumptious! So pleased with my decision to hire Tamara of Mozelle's Sweet Shoppe to bake a tres leches cake for my friend's birthday party. First, Tamar was very considerate with accommodating my very last minute order. Second, she set my expectations very high by letting me know that her tres leches cake is beloved by those in the Latino community. Lastly, she was very flexible with the pickup logistics.

With all this said, I am happy to report that cake was was very delicious! I was really impressed with the fresh strawberries, rich whipped cream and moist cake. My friend was thrilled that I treated her to her favorite cake on her special day. In addition, she was proud that I choose to hire a local talent of color.

I have been looking for a good bakery for special occasion cakes for a while. So many have super sweet, thick icing that overpowers the cake and leaves a Crisco feel in your mouth. I found Mozelle's online and ordered a cake for my husband and our son who share a birthday. Both love hiking, so I requested a mountain scene for the cake. Tamara was great to work with and the cake she made was a work of art. It was incredibly beautiful! The cake itself was moist, her homemade strawberry puree that was spread between the layers along with fresh strawberries had just the right sweetness and tart.
