Ralph's is an exceptional venue that my boyfriend and I frequent, particularly for the metal rock shows they sponsor, though they also host open mic comedy nights that bring a fun variety to the scene. The venue has an upstairs and downstairs, each with its own character. Upon entering, the restaurant is on the left, serving delicious classic American fare—especially their burgers, which are a must-try—and offering drinks at the bar. To the right, there’s another bar and a seating area, providing a cozy space for those wanting a quieter atmosphere. Personally, we love the energy of the shows upstairs, where there’s also a bar to keep the vibe lively.
The ambiance at Ralph’s is gritty and dark, the perfect backdrop for hard rock and punk. Despite the edgy atmosphere, the people here are consistently warm-hearted and welcoming. Whether it’s the performers, the patrons, or the staff, everyone brings a genuine friendliness that makes each visit memorable. Mike, the bartender, deserves special recognition because his gentle and kind demeanor exceeds even his skill in mixing drinks. His presence adds an extra layer of warmth to the experience.
One of the best parts of Ralph's is meeting interesting people from all over, including a few familiar faces. We've even run into the guy who works at the music shop where my boyfriend has his instruments tuned up and fixed—having that sense of community here adds so much to the experience. Ralph’s is a place that offers more than just live performances; it’s a spot where great conversations with strangers come naturally and where music lovers can feel truly at home. We always look forward to our visits, knowing we’ll leave with unforgettable memories and...
Read moreI had an older blonde woman as my bartender who after checking my ID told me she couldn't serve me because my ID is out of state and she thought it was fake. After that I told my friends I wanted to leave but they wouldn't go so I had to let her look through my wallet to show that my name was the same as my license. The whole process made me very uncomfortable because of how rude the bartender was, if you don't have a machine that actually scans IDs I don't understand how you're allowed to accuse someone of using a fake and then ask to go through their wallet. The whole time I was really scared that she might try and confiscate my driver's license, not to mention the fact that she handled the situation with no...
Read moreI walked in the night before Thanksgiving to have a drink with my friends and husband and the woman behind the bar said that she wasn't going to give me a drink right then and there because it was last call even though it was only 1:00 in the morning and she knew who she had to serve first even though I had patiently been waiting there for about 15 minutes with my money in hand. The exchange that we had verbally took about the amount of time it would have taken her to get two drinks for us. It was ridiculous and I will never go back...
