TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE-COULDNT BE WORSE!!!!! - food is ok though. But take it any ol way they bring it though, don't order it how you like. See, "HAVE IT YOUR WAY!" an old, memorable, All American traditional saying, is gone. America is being striped done, like they do to a stolen car in a chop shop! And this is only the beginning. This place tried to charge me extra for ordering my eggs runny! Also, she wouldn't answer my question as to why there was extra charges. I had to ask her like 5-6 times, as she rudely ignored my question. The cashier (actually my waitress, jumping back n forth TOUCHING THE MONEY/REGISTER BUTTONS then handling food W/O washing her hands) got salty with me (thank you no salt with my eggs plz). She acted more like a disgruntled unhappy housewife. She quickly scratched it off and said "you don't have to pay it, referring to the erroneous "up charge", yet still would not answer my question as to what it was for! I think I have a right to know what it was for and why you had an unknown, non explanatory, unjustified charges on my bill! Still, she wouldn't answer. After some persistence, she exclaimed, in a tonality that does NOT resemble good acceptable customer service, the kind served up here in America! Now if your thinking my choice of words are in some fashion RACIST, you are suffering from many years of indoctrination and greatly mistaken as ITS NOT! It is the American way, good friendly sensibly pleasurable non attitudinal non controversial customer service PERIOD. I guess I can mostly speak for WHITE AMERICA ( there you go again, trying to think racist! It's a SHAMEFUL WAY OF THINKING BY THE WAY). Yes there are cultural differences. Yes I and many others find offense when you strip kindness, courtesy, a polite attitude, even under duress, try to add in made up charges, like "a well done burger" is a custom order (like my runny egg yolks) and try to imply it uses more ga$! Yes there will be division. Yes I expect a napkin when I order food to go. You being cheap at the customers expense does equat to " POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE" and does perpetuate hard feelings after I spill food on my tie! At least put a stick in the bag so I can poke my eye with. And it's not like the food is inexpensive. It most definitely is NOT. The foods ok, the prices are bearable, the service in NOT! BY THE WAY, DID I MENTION THAT I WAS ASKED , Ah GET THIS, "DONT COME BACK!" Been going in there for many years, was born across the street at Little Co. Mary. I guess I need to learn to speak ESPANOL, Keep my mouth shut about their secrete UPCHARGES, and not watch Hannity interviewing the "Don" in their restaurant on my phone. All in all, I don't think I want them changing my culture and the ways I'm used to doing things. I won't be quiet when in OVER CHARGED. I'll eat at the Golden Griddle down the block on Utica. Their prices are bout the same, the food quality and selection is WAAAAY BETTER! Ndealung with petty BS nickle and dime offensive moves or bad attitudes. And trust me it is hard to put into text but it was VERY RUDE AND HUMILIATING TO A DEGREE. I won't be back there be sure. I am full of Grace but won't give them my business. Read moreIM BIG ON CUSTOMER SERVICE! I've been to this restaurant before it was a very long wait others came in after us and got served immediately (I must admit the food was good) . This time was even worse walking through the door it took a while to be greeted, once seated it took even longer for the waitress (older lady) to take our order. Once the order was taken it took about 30/45 minutes to get our food and people around us was eating good and getting their food fast (how long do it take to cook a veggie skillet) while waiting me and my friend love coffee, we finished the first cup and waited and waited and waited for another (we had to ask) at this point a waitress that wasn't our waitress walked past with the coffee pot we asked her and she said oh your waitress is supposed to do that (she did end up filling up our mugs). The food finally came (we had to ask for straws) the entire time we was there no one asked us how we was doing if we needed anything else we got nothing. Once I got to the end of my meal I noticed hair in my food I pointed it out to the waitress informing her once I got to the end of my meal I noticed hair (not expecting anything because hell I finished it) she shrugged her shoulders and then said you finished your food with a smirk I repeat yeah that's why I told you I noticed once I got to the end (regardless when it was noticed it was still there) she then informed me that the owners was out and when I come back I can inform the owner.............THERE WILL BE NO...
Read moreSo today we went to this restaurant based on a friend recommendation. However clearly we were not welcomed 😒. So let me start by saying we were not greeted when we walked in. The place had Pedominantly Caucasian Patriots in the restaurant. The restaurant is run by Hispanic individual. Our waiter Trinidad was amazing, However the owner Marissa Has horrible customer service. Marissa went around to every Caucasian table and greeted them, However there were tables tables that set minority patrons of the restaurant which included my table and a biracial couple which she did not greet at all. I ordered the chicken and waffle meand they brought me out chicken tenders That were recooked. Therefore I asked for them to be replaced with bacon due to the server stating that everyone Complain about the tenders. He stated that he had to ask Marissa about it and when he did she came to the table with an Attitude and took the chicken tenders away and made a comment about it.
