Nino's Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Wyomissing

Terrible. First of all, I assumed it wouldn't be terribly expensive. I thought it'd be similar to your average "mom & pop" pizzeria. Not at all. It was WAY over priced. Secondly, my husband and I waited an hour or so for spaghetti and stromboli. I also ordered garlic bread which never even made it to the table. Third and foremost, the food was not great. Spaghetti sauce was obviously jarred or something because it tasted bland. And they served my capellini straight from the water which made my plate all watery. It was gross. My husband's stromboli looked and tasted like a frozen grocery store brand. My spaghetti came with a salad that was LITERALLY a couple pieces of lettuce and two, very thin, tomato slices. That's it. It was almost laughable. My meal was $14 and way over priced. And my husband's was nearly $11 and it wasn't even 8" long. Would never go back. And I don't consider myself...

I just moved to the area and was looking for a good pizza spot. I was walking my dog one day and stopped in for a slice… it was amazing. I thought to myself no way this pizza is actually that good it must have been a fluke. About a week later I stoped in for a cheese pie and somehow it was even better than the first time. I’ve had pizza from New Jersey, New York, Chicago, Connecticut… Ninos is hands-down the most delicious pizza I’ve ever had. Not only is the pizza amazing, but the staff is super friendly and welcoming which is a breath of fresh air since most people I’ve met in the area tend to be the opposite. You can get a pie for under $12. In this economy that’s amazing. I can’t say enough about this hidden gem. I will most definitely be coming back time...

Alfredo sauce tasted like plain cream, very bland. The dish was supposed to have clams, mussels and scallops but couldn't see or identify any seafood in the soupy sauce. The lasagna barely had any meat and the sauce was also bland. The bruschetta smelled better than it tasted. It needed Basil in a serious way. The shrimp was over cooked and possibly freezer burned. The pizza slices we're dry and seemed old. The salad was simply lettuce, a hamburger slice of tomato and a couple small pieces of onion. We were very dissatisfied and disappointed. But the staff was very friendly...
