4th of July fun...

Went hoping to get a gas grill that I saw on their website. Their website said they had one left in the store but when we got there, they did not have the model we wanted. An employee close to the entrance immediatelyly assisted me with getting a salesperson to help. The salesman was very patient with me while he listened to what I had to say. He then went to great lengths checking his inventory and 3 separate areas in the store and storeroom until he found that exact grill. He explained our options for assembling or not and delivery too. I had no idea that they will assemble it free of charge and since we don't need it until next week, I was all for that. Just one problem, it won't fit in my car assembled and delivery cost an additional $75. Well, Home Depot has another solution...they will let us rent a truck from them for only $20 to bring our grill home. To me, it is well worth the $20 to let them assemble it. For years I've been on the fence about which is better Home Depot or Lowe's. I have finally decided that I will no longer be going to Home Depot. Too many times have I gone there while Home Depot has been short-handed. The employees are few and far in-between and less than helpful.

Today, I was waiting at customer service to speak with someone. While I was waiting, there was also a line at the returns department. One employee was checking in the returns. The customer service representative came back to her post. I said hello I have a quick question. She said, please step aside I have to help these other customers. "Excuse me, I just have a quick question", I said. She again said, step aside all of these other people have been waiting. I explained that I also have been waiting for customer service with a quick question.She then ignored me, yelled next customer in line, and continued to take other customers.

Goodbye Home Depot. I will pay off my Home Depot card and I will be done...

Ordered $4,000 Quartz counter top. Used the company The Home Deport recommended and when I had an issue, they were like, we can't help ya. so I cancelled the order. The next day, I opened up the wall oven they wrapped up for me,and they left the plastic price tag holder on the front glass door. The problem is its glued to the glass so hard that it wont come off. Called manager and spoke with Rick. He said, ok????? He said I bought a the last display model as is. I said I know, I paid $800 for the display model but I don't expect The Home Depot's price tag holder to be left om the front glass door. DID HE REALLY SAY THIS TO ME!!!!!! Rick said to try and use a straight razor. I said are you kidding???? Rick didn't want to be bothered. And he is a manager. Check out the picture. This guy told me this is my problem. Can you Fing believe that DO NOT BUY FROM THE HOME DEPORT...
