DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! Wish I could give them zero stars. Ordered from this place on Dec. 21st for curbside pick up. Once you arrive for your pick up, you need to call so that they can bring it out to you. I had to call 9 times until someone finally answered the phone and brought my food out. Once I got home and was setting the food for my family, I notice one of the meals was missing and the family meal we had ordered was missing all the topping. I called them right away (took another 10 tries to get someone on the phone) told them what had happened. The girl on the line responded "do you want to come back and pick it up?" I told her No, I didn't want to drive back as I live on the other side of Yorba and to just give me a refund. She said she had to let a manager know and since he was in the kitchen he would have to call me back later to fix the issue or "work something out" I gave her my number and was expecting to receive a call later that evening or the next day. It's now Dec. 27th and never heard back from the manager or received a refund for the missing order. The food was nasty and tasted like pure grease. The "nachos" are disgusting, it was more like some sort of soup mixed with sour cream and cheese, just aweful! I know it's just a Denny's but for $65 of overpriced disgustig food, I expected the food and service to be a little...
Read moreWe've eaten at many Denny's over the years, usually when traveling. For the most part they're safe and clean for the tired traveler. However, when in town we usually shy away from most locations. We're in easy driving distance to three or four.
This particular location is different. First, it's much larger than your average run-of-the-mill Denny's. Even on a Sunday morning when it's crowded the most we've ever waited to be seated is about 10 minutes. The staff is very well trained and friendly. We've never had an issue with the service. The food is always hot and fresh, whether there for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or that late night snack.
The parking lot is huge. There is also parking on the street on the rare occasion the lot is full. The restrooms have always been clean. They even have a few TV's sprinkled around the restaurant turned to a variety of sports. Over all a nice dining environment.
With the lack of real diner-like sites around the Yorba Linda area, this Denny's truly fills that need. Highly recommended whether you're on the...
Read moreI’m writing this review as an apology, I had a lovely sever who served breakfast to me and some friends and was super kind and helpful. However, I just recently got my drivers license a couple months ago and I’m not used to paying for my own meals directly at sit down restaurant, and I was paying with cash which I really did not know the process of how to pay with cash at a restaurant as I have only done it like twice and in the past I have had help. I was not sure how to best tip with cash, and in the process of paying and trying to figure out how it all worked I forgot to tip. I did not realize tell long after I left and felt quite bad. I have looked it up to make sure this confusion does not happen again and I now know that I should just leave some change on the table. Oh also the food was...
