Picalonga Sabor Tropical — Restaurant in York

I’ve only been in York a short while. I was searching for Spanish cuisine when I came upon Picalonga Sabor Tropical Restaurant! I walked to it and had the best Spanish food I’ve had in York! The pork was amazing, beans and rice, great, the pastelon was so good and the empanadas were crispy and delicious! The young lady working there was very sweet and helped me identify all the delicious looking entrees! The food was so good, I called the restaurant and thanked them, “my compliments to the chef”! Overpriced.. Most foods are delicious. The only problem is the large portions of rice and small portions of meat. When your done you'll have a bunch of rice leftover. The pork isn't that great.. When ordering the pierna or pork 80percent is nothing but hard skin.. The only thing that is worth going to picalonga for us that baked chicken for 3 dollars.. Other than that I'm going around the corner to the food market on Queen.....

Food was good but the service is AWFUL. Speaking to one of the employees over the phone was stressful and the employee hung up on my face when I wasn’t even done ordering yet. When I got there to pick up my food I wasn’t gonna leave her a tip for giving me a attitude and hanging up on my face and when I put the card in she turned the screen over and tipped herself.
