Went in for my birthday with some family (5 adults and my toddler). Immediately noticed how the atmosphere is light and yet cozy, with the wood oven warming the room just right.
We ordered 3 appetizers to share, and we were very quickly impressed by how good everything was, we also all ordered the drinks made in house rather than soda and we all loved those as well. The tables have paper over them and the staff provided my toddler with markers so she was highly entertained (and she loved her lemonade).
The waitress had a great attitude and patient demeanor, we didn’t know how to pronounce some of the things we ordered and she kindly walked us through it. She was also easy to get when we needed more of anything (we ordered several extra baskets of pita).
The food was excellent, everyone was thoroughly pleased with what they ordered. Some of my family isn’t particularly adventurous taste wise so this was a really big win for me. The owner showed my daughter how they make the pita in the oven and she loved watching that. And the thing was all this eating, socializing, etc took maybe a little over an hour so they had the whole program moving pretty well.
In summation the service, atmosphere, and food are excellent as well as being family friendly, and it didn’t cost as much as we thought it would. Looking forward to returning,...
Read moreBe sure to make a reservation, you HAVE to try Levant! This beautiful restaurant is family owned and operated. The food is so flavorful, fresh and authentic. We had the charred eggplant & tahini spread and the pastry stuff with spinach to start. Both were a great introduction as to the flavor parade that was about to begin. The pita bread that accompanied the spread was so soft & billowy, I could have eaten that all night! The addition of sumac spice to the spinach mixture will knock your taste buds into happytown. My husband & I devoured the chicken with pickled red onion and the lentils & rice dish with crispy red onion. We both felt as though we were sitting at the families kitchen table with how comforting and homey the dishes were. I am still (two days later) dreaming of the rice & lentil dish with those crispy red onions! We tried two of the drinks: Royal Mint Lemonade & Arabian Night Orange both were so tantalizing and had us going back for more sips to try & figure out what the secret ingredients are. Don't skip the baklava made with pistachio. Rama was attentive and made sure we were enjoying our meal. The whole family we so kind & welcoming we can not wait to get...
Read moreI must say, it takes a lot to get me to write a review. It’s gotta either be off the charts or stay away. I have been to Levant’s a few times now. The wait staff has improved 10 fold. They couldn’t be kinder. As for the food, wasn’t sure what I was looking at on the menu. It is traditional eastern Mediterranean food. So my theory is when in doubt, try a lil of everything. I ordered the Mediterranean Platter. But wait… I forgot to mention the atmosphere is kinda a chic metrostinian vibe. So when the platter arrived I was visually blown away…. It was served on a mother of pearl tray and each “ tapenade” ( best way to explain it) was bursting with flavor….. I was truly transported and blown away…… the most fresh mouthwateringly flavor food you can imagine….. and the Tabboulah prepare yourself for something so healthy and energizing its hard...
