We had a party of 12 and booked two 10 am reservations for a party of 6 (maximum allowed) for a Sunday morning...
RH Service: Initially, we asked the hostess before ordering if the two parties of could be sat closer together (not at one table). She never got back to us. After 10 minutes of waiting, I moved to the other table to keep get the tables even and to get our meals moving. A manager stopped by when were closing the bill and apologized for not sitting us closer. She mentioned if we informed them earlier we could have sat together? She was very polite and professional. The kitchen was great with getting our dishes to the table quickly. The servers were decent with keeping the waters and coffees fresh.
RH Ambiance: They have a gorgeous greenhouse dining area complete with live olive trees, attractive fountains and large white eye catching chandeliers hang from the ceiling. It was sunny when we dined so it got warm quickly. Feel free to keep your fabulous sunglasses like most of the diners did. This is the most attractive dining area I've been in so far in this year. Get the smart phones ready to take lots of pics.
RH Cuisine: The Crispy Artichoke was tasty and an awesome side. The Artisanal prosciutto was came out with warm bread and we enjoyed it. Their steak was cooked perfectly and I would highly recommend it. The avocado toast is a generous and flavorful serving. The truffled grilled cheese was creative and the truffle worked so well. This is going to sound strange, but the RH burger was absolutely wonderful. Perfect in beef, cheese, sauce, bun, etc...this was a delicious burger. The house cookies come out warm, with sea salt and they melted in your mouth. Overall, I'm a fan of their dishes.
This is a social media haven for all your followers. The ambiance and decor alone has the ability to hypnotize people to a high star review. Tons of photo opps with the lovely dining area and the cuisine's presentation is on point. We travel 10+ deep every visit to Napa so keep the 6 person table limit in mind if you have a group of traveling foodies likes...
Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ RH Yountville is not just a restaurant; it’s an experience that transcends dining. I’ve never felt more like royalty, and I’m 99% sure I was treated like I was the only person there (even though the place was full). The service? Impeccable doesn’t even begin to cover it. The staff was so on top of everything that I started to wonder if they were somehow reading my mind. One moment, I thought, “Hmm, my glass is empty,” and the next, it was magically filled. And let’s not forget the warmth and charm—they made me feel like I was the most important guest, even though they were probably doing that for everyone.
The atmosphere? Stunning. Honestly, I walked in and felt like I had entered some sort of luxury dreamscape. The decor was the perfect blend of elegant and cozy, like someone designed it with the sole purpose of making me want to never leave. The natural light pouring in, the sleek furniture, the tasteful artwork—everything was a visual feast. I half expected a harpist to start playing just for added effect, but honestly, the ambiance was so perfect, I wouldn’t have been surprised if that happened.
Now, the food. If heaven had a menu, this would be it. Every dish was a symphony of flavors that made my taste buds want to throw a party. From the first bite to the last, it was clear that the chefs at RH Yountville are culinary geniuses. Each plate was an art form—beautiful to look at and even better to eat. I can’t remember the last time I had such a mind-blowing meal. I wanted to take a bite of everything on the menu, but I had to control myself (barely).
Honestly, I’ve come to a conclusion: I just want to live here. I would gladly take up permanent residence in the corner, sipping wine, eating exquisite food, and pretending that I’m on some kind of lifestyle magazine cover. You know, just casually making everyone else around me jealous of my existence. 10/10, would never leave again. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and go—you’ll be tempted to...
Read moreI'll start with the positive... Ambience was great. Beautiful covered indoor/outdoor dining area. Stop by to snap some pictures, leave and eat elsewhere. We received a courtesy phone call earlier saying they were having "electrical" issues. Should have switched dinner plans then.
Food 2 stars. More of a lunch menu than dinner. Ordered appetizers. Artichoke hearts flash fried and potatoes. Taste was okay but artichoke hearts came out in paper thin flaky pieces. Prosciutto plate meh. Nothing special. Server asked if we knew what entrées we'd like. Hesitant to order all at once because of timing. He assured us it would be staged. Ordered burger and half roast chicken. Entrées were brought out by a different server and placed on top of appetizer serving boards we were not yet finished with. Obvious entrées had been sitting awhile because both were cold. Redo dishes tasted okay but no wow factor.
1 star service. We had reservations for 8:45pm. Arrived on the dot. Seated immediately, waited 15min for server. He spent the majority of his time chatting it up with another table. After getting his attention regarding cold food he did his best to accommodate however it was 10:30pm when we finally had our redo dishes. Once again had to get his attention for our check. After voicing how ridiculous the evening had been he had the nerve to tell us we weren't even supposed to be seated because we arrived after 9pm. Again 8:45pm reservation, arrived on the dot. Not to mention 4 women were seated in the table beside us at least 30min after we arrived.
My expectations were much higher than my experience.
Dysfunctional, lack of communication between servers and kitchen? Not worth the money for subpar food...
