Algoberto's Taco Shop — Restaurant in Yucca Valley

So I can say that I won’t recommend this place. The owner/ cashier was rude and had an attitude. I walked in to order 3 burritos and a torta. While I am trying to order and ask questions about what comes inside of the burritos she answers the phone. So I stopped and waited. I only got the torta ordered and she asked is that all. I told no but I didn’t want to be rude she was on the phone. She tells me to continue with my order it’s only her cousin on the phone. So as I’m trying to finish my order she continues to talk on the phone. Needless to say my order was wrong and she was upset with me because ? I have no clue! But as I sat there waiting for my order the other 4 to go orders that were there before me were also wrong. Now I did notice she was very polite to the Hispanic customers and rude to the white customers regarding their orders and them wanting them corrected. Advice for the owner… add on your menu if rice and beans do or don’t come included in your burritos or if there is an extra charge. Also stay off the phone while taking orders so you can focus on one...

Delicious, authentic, Mexican street style food. Everything we've tried, has been excellent, and we've made our way "around" the menu, sampling it all. The salsa's are super tasty, and somewhat spicy, AS SALSA SHOULD BE! 😲. By the local clientele, it's a dead give away, this is not touristy/kitschy/fad/hipster, restaurant. It's for "the people", "by the people". ALL THE EMPLOYEES, ARE AWESOME!! Very helpful, accomadating, informative, and welcoming to all customers, and doing so with a LEGITAMENT SMILE, AND HOSPITALITY!! ..

Great little taco shop tucked away in an unsuspecting strip mall on the side of the highway. Large menu with everything from lengua and menudo to more standard fares such as chicken and beef. Many different combinations at pretty fair prices for the quality of food you receive. With drinks, you have a pretty decent choice of sodas, including jarritos, which is an incredibly delicious Spanish soda, and worth a try if you have never have it, they also have fountain drinks as well.
