I was super excited to find a seafood restaurant. I live an hour and 15 minutes from Yuma on the Colorado River and so I made a day trip of it to surprise some friends back at camp with Crawfish my experience was just horrible. 😔 When I entered the restaurant the hostess was just all over the place. When she finally tried to help me what a disaster. She couldn’t explain the menu to me and how the seafood bags were created. It literally took all of my patience to get through just ordering. As a business owner the first person you encounter is the most important! This was an epic fail. Food was prepared timely however once I was home it tasted awful! The crawfish were like rubber no flavor and the lobster had to have been old. The scallops were chewy and the sausage looked microwaved. The best part was the corn. My dinner party was ruined. I don’t get upset easy but I cried because this literally took me a full day and my friends ended up eating PBJ’s and wine. I spent 141 dollars on tasteless rubber seafood. If you are from the south like myself and know what real seafood and crawfish taste like DO NOT EVER EAT HERE! It ruined my love for scallops all together. Some may think his review is harsh but it’s the honest truth. My friends drove from Havasu for my party and I bragged about how awesome it was going to be. I was so embarrassed. Read moreFor a crab restaurant linked to a hotel, I hesitated heavily before going in. In my opinion, atmosphere and service makes a crab shack. The waitress took my drink order which was delivered by a fantastic bartender. After that I was left unattended to the point I wanted to walk out. When the waitress finally came back around I was asked what I wanted while really hoping for some excitement with guidance through the menu and ordering process. When you’re preparing to huddle around a paper cloth with plastic glvoes and a bib, battling for a minuscule amount of expensive boiled meat, it’s nice to have someone provide confidence in the coming meal. I fumbled through and got an order in. I was surprisingly shocked by the food. I had the pacific rim sauce level 5. It was absolutely amazing. Crab was of pretty good quality and properly cooked. Corn and potato on point. The waitress finally came back around as I finished the meal, just in time for me to request the check. I certainly missed on the lack of a side order but had no chance to put one in as she never came back around after the order was delivered nor was one suggested during ordering. Read moreFor me.. a great place to have some seafood.. have had an amazing experience each time.. but today was not the best.. never even saw my waitress… but… I had a guy checking me and take my order and get my food… I saw this guy more than I did my waitress.. but from my observation, I have to give credit my waitress… she was making and mixing drinks for other customers while trying to take care of her tables… and. Respect that… and at that time I did wonder who was serving me.. had a guy check in me constantly… took my order and explained in detail what I could benefit in ordering myself some food… I got more than I asked for… and come to find out.. I ask to speak to management.. not to criticize anyone… the manager came before and we shook hands.. and I stayed my experience… and I do admire what we spoke about.. and he gets his team together and asks everyone what can we do better.. in my book.. this is a very good place to have some seafood broil.. as well as everything on the menu.. top notch food….
