I hope you have a better experience. I've eaten Sushi for 40 years all over the country The good: Nothing I experienced was good enough to mention. Ninja's was passable, barely. I arrived after lunch around 2:30-3pm, so NOT busy. 👎Greeting/seating very slow. Waited 15 minutes for 1 at the almost empty bar with 4 people finished, getting ready to leave. Food arrives very slowly & is not served by the sushi chef that is making your food right in front of you 🙄 like a real Sushi bar. 👎You order everything through a grumpy young gal who would rather be anywhere else, or a nice but kind of nervous young Asian gal who unfortunately barely understands English 👎 No interaction with chef Sitting at a Sushi bar & interacting with your chef is a very large part of it Sushi especially when you are solo as I usually am👎 👎Everything comes out at once like sitting at a table unlike a roll or an order of nigiri at a time which is 1 reason I never sit at a table👎 👎I love ika/squid. It was slimy & warm Most likely frozen, quick thawed in hot water. Gross 🤢👎 👎I love hand rolls. Not available on the 2 for 1 All Day Happy Hour Special along with at least 1/2 of the menu👎 👎1st time in you don't find this out until you're hungry, you've decided & are ordering. Great...🙄👎 Definitely will not return. I'm new here but there must be a REAL sushi bar...

I tried this restaurant because online the happy hour menu shows buy one get one for certain rolls. There aren’t many vegetarian options and I came to this place already knowing what I want to order. But when I showed up I was told that the rolls I wanted actually are not part of the happy hour. I’m not sure why the menu online would include these rolls just to tell me it’s not true when I show up. The waitress didn’t even bring me a happy hour menu for me to look through so I was already annoyed with the misleading information online but I still put in my order and asked for a sake bomb. The regular menu they gave me shows a sake bomb as one price but instead I was charged for the beer and the sake separately. At this point I’m already being charged double than what I expected for both the food and the drinks. The price is not the issue itself it’s that the restaurant advertises prices that aren’t true and the waitress doesn’t even bother to communicate that you will be over-charged. I wouldn’t bother coming back and I could have saved money going to a different location that actually follows through on deals...

My family and I had driven to Yuma to attend a birthday party for a friend of ours. We were staying at the hotel across the street from Ninja Sushi and my 11-year-old daughter loves sushi so she asked if we could go to Ninja Sushi for lunch. I was skeptical about having sushi in Arizona but I said sure why not let's try it. Based on the reviews it looked like it was a good place to eat. When we walked in, the atmosphere was really good, the restaurant was clean and the air conditioning felt great. We were set down promptly and given menus. I was surprised to see the different selection that they had and my daughter quickly found what she was looking for. We went ahead and placed our order for some sushi rolls and some drinks and my wife, who does not like sushi, ordered Japanese fried rice. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The food was exceptionally good and my wife really enjoyed her fried rice but my daughter, gave it a two thumbs up meaning it was really good. I recommend this place and I will definitely come back to this place next time...

We finally made it back to Ninja Sushi to celebrate my son’s 16th birthday, and wow… it did not disappoint! From the fresh rolls to the new look inside, this spot is officially back on our must-visit list. If you’re craving sushi in Yuma, this is where you need to be. #yumaarizona #yumaaz #sushilover #localfood #yumarestaurant

This is not an authentic Japanese place. Questionable anti-sanitary food serving practices. I asked the server what broth was used for ramen. She didn't know. The other server didn't know. The kitchen didn't know. Then the server brought ramen in a light yellow broth. Was it miso? If it was, it was a very clear liquid, without any miso clouds. Was it made out of powder? The quality seemed very low, on the same level with the Maruchan packets. Bulgogi wasn't good, the portion was small and there was no banchan. We asked about gochujang. The server never heard of it. But they had Sriracha. I had sushi rolls. The amount of raw fish was very small. Wasabi and ginger weren't on the plate. When the sushi got served, the server asked if I wanted wasabi and ginger or any sauces. I asked them and unagi sauce. This is what I received, on the picture. I didn't receive any additional utensils to use my sauces. The server kept touching my food with her fingers. She brought straws under her armpits. Eww. Eww. Eww.

#1 food choice on my personal menu of favorites is sushi. So, when I sit down for a platter of unagi-whatever or maguro-anything, I'm hopeful that I will be partaking in what most pleases my palate and most certainly my soul. Ninja Sushi in Yuma, Arizona fulfilled my expectations. Buy one get one free at happy hour, the Onion Dragon Roll in the rear and the Double Dragon Roll in the front row were my picks. OD was light on the rice (at my request), fried shrimp, crabmeat, avocado, and cucumber on the inside; spicy tuna and crunchy onions on the outside. DD was the same as OD except eel and avocado draped the outside. My favorite was the eel, but both were absolutely delicious. The wasabi and ginger were perfection. I paired my meal with Sayuri Hot Sake, and oh my goodness, most excellent 👌👌👌👌.
