Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Yuma

It was really crowded for a Saturday afternoon and as a result service was slow as the staff (my guess is they'd staffed for a lot less business) was all.ost running between tables. One large party of well over 20. Direct access to the restrooms was not possible to the narrow aisle resulting from the table arrangement being blocked by a very busy waitress. After trying unsuccessfully I doubled back and went thru the bar area.

We turned off the main drag (8 lanes wide, traffic lights, heavy traffic, high speeds) at an Arco gas station, 2 fast food restaurants past Applebee's. We ended up going behind the fuel pumps to the very rear to double back on a narrow driveway. This is the only way to gain access to the restaurant.

I ordered a burger and the server asked if I wanted it "cooked or pink". I said pink. It came out about 30 minutes later so over-cooked that the edges of the bun were baked into a greasy crust. I sawed the edges off.

However, my wife ordered a chicken bowl salad and loved it. Of course it was not cooked as as I said they were extremely busy and understaffed on the restaurant floor. I'm guessing the kitchen had the same problem.

Considering the difficult to get to restaurant location, heavy traffic and my over cooked burger, I plan to pass on this Applebee location...

I don't really like to give poor reviews, but this one is unavoidable. So we went to this Applebee's twice in Yuma on back to back Saturdays for dinner. The first time we sat in the bar area on a high top 4 in our party . The bartender waited on us. The service started out okay until the meals started coming. Two of the meals were super delayed. So our parties were eating at different times. Finally had to ask the bartender what the holdup was on getting the rest of the food. She said that the kitchen was just busy. Okay. Food finally came and that one person got to eat. Poor customer service. The next weekend we came there. We sat in a booth. Our waitress was kind of argumentative about not allowing substitutions on the menu. The food did not come out as expected. This Applebee's is just different than others. It seems like customer service is not a big concern here. Finally flagged someone down to get our check after waiting. This time the food almost came out at the same time. Except for one person in our party. That was a skillet and it came out extremely late and the rest of us were almost done eating. The food was tasty and good Applebee's quality. We liked the food but not the service. Should have gone to the roadhouse. I won't make that mistake again . I would not recommend...

Went here with my daughter and our Burgers were bland..had to add salt snd pepper to them! They tasted like paper. Wings were delicious especially for 1$ special! We got the chips with queso dip and the chips were warm but oddly enough they were very stale. We asked the waiter we could get another batch of chips that were not still and didn't bring them to the table until we were almost done mind you this was supposed to be an appetizer 🤦🏼‍♀️😒 and the chips he brought us I believe we're from the same batch because yes they were warm but they were so stale as well! So overall the only good thing I guess for the wings. Paid over $57 for mediocre food. Not too happy about that. I've never had a problem at Applebee's. The food has always been on point. I will definitely give them a try again bc out of all the times I've been in all the years this is my first time with a bad experience. Im loyal to...
