Never been the type to leave any kind of review but here I go: I just went to Texas Roadhouse in Yuma for the first time in very long time and after going to this Roadhouse for many years and always having a great experience with customers service today I had the worst luck with one of the waitresses working here. She made my husband myself and even my kids uncomfortable to say the least. So the night started we got here at 5pm waited an hour to be seated which it’s fine. But got seated at 6 pm got our seat waited for our waitress asked for our drink order asked for a margarita she asked for my ID which she said hey it’s expired I said oh sorry because i actually forgot it just expired like not even less than a week ago so I said okay fine I’ll just get a water take in mind I’m 30 yrs old. After this she brought our drinks. we never once insulted her or were rude in any kind of way. I don’t know where her attitude came from. Right after that she left and came back to take our food order. Then she told us hey we have no steak bites for kids I told her okay that’s fine I’ll get them chicken then not even 5 minutes my kids changed their minds and said hey mom we’ll get the steak and I told her I would be changing 2 chicken orders to the 6oz steak. The whole time oh my goodness her attitude facial expressions towards us and tone I’ve never been so uncomfortable and unhappy with somebody as a waitress as with Maddy/Maddie. We asked for medium well steaks and got rare cold steaks including my kids although asking her twice and confirming for medium well done steaks. When waiter from kitchen brought us our food he asked yes was it you who changed your order I said yes it was. Yes at that moment we knew very well she had done this all on purpose because he had a smirk of laughter you know like not a good one and it took her 1 hr 35 minutes to bring our food we didn’t complain to her or her manager because who wants to be that person. The other 2 tables around us had already been served and seated twice with their families. I understand if I would have been rude or insulting her but not once was I rude or using profanity in my word chose towards her and regardless how understanding we were trying to be of everything she still took it out on us for no apparent reason. At the end of the meal after paying on the tablet she came back handed the receipt literally in front of my husband’s face like right on his face even he was like why what the heck why did she put the receipt right on my face to give it to me. i honestly don’t even how this dinner went from us waiting and ordering our drinks to this. We didn’t do anything wrong. It’s been well over years from experience such nasty service and well let’s just say I probably won’t be returning and sucks because this used to be one of my favorite places but to be treated poorly like this I don’t think so it doesn’t even sound as bad as it honestly even was I felt so uncomfortable for even being there not...
Read moreYuma AZ location. September 24, 2023. We chose Texas Road house as the “dinner spot” for my father-in-laws birthday dinner. We started as a 9 top and checked in via the app/call in.. After check in we updated the host staff that we in fact would be a party of 10. Host staff informed us that we would have to be split up into two tables. Host staff informed us they would do everything possible to sit both tables close together. We informed host staff that we were willing to wait to be able to sit close together since the second table would be consisted of a 12 yr, 09yr, and elderly 94yr. Tables were nowhere near each other. Table 1 consisting of 7 adults (including parents of the 09yr, 12yr) were seated in a 6 person booth. Table 2, two kids and elderly person were seated elsewhere. Once seated Adults noticed that a 6 person table opened up right next to table two where 09yr, 12yr, and elderly 94yr were seated. Adults asked host staff specifically Jim Vasica if it was possible to switch tables. Switching a 6 person both where we were seated away from kids to the 6 person table right next to the table were our underage kids were seated. Jim stated it would not be possible. NOTE: We are all Hispanics. After taking our loss and our group was separated (into two table far apart) we noticed a white Family of 15+ were comfortably seated together at two adjacent tables right next to us. We sat there and wondered why a table much larger than us was able to be all seated together and we were not. NOTE: Wait staff did hear us out and approached Jim (manager) on our behalf with our thoughts and observations. Wait staff was great but advised us that due to Jim’s decisions they were unable to help. This ruined our event, even worse Jim was vey rude and didn’t give any explanation. Jim never smiled, never seemed interested in helping and we actually felt Jim was annoyed at us for expressing ourselves. As of right now, nobody in our party will ever return nor will we give referrals or...
Read moreWe arrived at about 11:15am on Saturday. We were seated promptly and our order was quickly taken. We waited for quite a long time for our entrees to arrive. We ate a bag of peanuts drank one and a half glasses of ice tea, rolls, and our first side before the main course arrived at our table. Everything looked perfect until my husband got into his 16 oz. rib eye, about a third of it was fat and gristle. By this point I was finished with my 12 oz rib eye and prawns. Our server finally came by our table and I asked to speak with a manager. The manager slowly sauntered over to our table only to stop and talk to the bartender on her way. When I showed her the amount of fat that was on the steak she advised us that if we didn't want fat on a steak we should order the sirloin. We have always ordered the rib eye and have never received a cut of meat like this. I pointed out that nobody in their right mind would eat a steak with that much fat. Again she reiterated that we shouldn't order that cut of meat, instead of agreeing that there was a lot of fat. She offered to have another steak prepared and became emotional when we asked for a discount instead since we had already finished the meal. The entire seating area heard the way she spoke to us over the very loud unnerving Christmas tunes that played. She left abruptly and came back with a receipt and made a point of letting us know that she did one better than a discount, we received our entire meal on the house. We would have gave this visit one star had that not happened. We did contact corporate because of the way we were treated in front of other guests. We have been getting 5-star service and food from Texas Roadhouse for over 20 years. This one visit and manager surely won't deter us from...
