I was really disappointed here. Had heard good things about them so am hoping was just a 'one off.' Anyway, the people I dealt with were VERY NICE so for THEM I would say I give them a 3 (will explain why even that was low) My friend & I ordered a chicken parm. I got a beer, my friend a daiquiri. I was told that it was 2/1 on beers but she'd have 2 bring both beers at once since bartender was busy. Really?! I'm a 62 y/o, not a big drinker. So I just got the 1. Ordered our food & when we got it the TOP of chicken parm, looked good. Server said plates were hot so I was careful but it came with noodles & they were REALLY cold. And the parm, while it LOOKED GOOD the edges were HARD AS A ROCK. Both of our them were so we both sent back. Now, I want to say, our server, Cynthia, was very personable. It was a little busy & we were sitting in the back (all the way at the back) so getting her attention was difficult but don't THINK that was her fault. When the 2nd plates came the manager brought them. Thought that was impressive & she also was very friendly (so I feel REALLY GUILTY over leaving a bad review). Was AGAIN, hard as a rock around edges. Almost EXACTLY that same. So, we just cut around & ate the middles. We got the chicken parm dinner that came with chicken & noodles. Was it supposed to come with a SALAD? We noticed a salad bar when we came in but didn't think about it when we ordered & it wasn't mentioned so figured it didn't come with meal. Was it supposed to? Now, we SPLIT the order cuz we r older (but I ALWAYS TIP GOOD). And I understand that if u split an order of COURSE u should only get 1 salad bar option but u USUALLY r offered an option 4 the 2nd (which would've been nice). But it was never mentioned & we didn't think about it as we were just focused on getting a meal we could actually EAT. So, we will probably give them another try based SOLEY on the manager & server ALTHOUGH, if she was new, she should be trained tell people that they r welcome to it, or what the upcharge is for an additional plate, OR that it's not included. But I DO know, that we will NOT be trying the parm again.... Sorry 4 rambling review but think when u leave a lower rate that u should explain ALL...
Read moreRuby's has always been a favorite of mine, but lately something is wayyyyy off !! Usually get take out and last time got the ribs and ribeye combo, the ribeye was tough, gristly and flavorless, needless to say I didn't eat more than maybe two bites.
Tonight though, tonight was horrible !!!!!! Took my grandkids out to eat in the restaurant, waited 20 for a table when there were plenty empty, reason given was short on kitchen staff. Maybe that explains the horrible food but, once again, ordered the 6oz ribeye, and once again, was tough, gristly and wayyyy too much garlic, and I love garlic. Baked potato was about as tasteless as you can get. My grandson ate the rest of it because like Mikey, he'll eat anything. Grandson's chicken sandwich was dry and over cooked and the 12.99 fried calamari appetizer was a joke. First of all for that price I could have gone to Red Lobster, Olive Garden or Millers Ale House and gotten a HUGE plateful with enough for all of us to share of just the rings, this was a tiny little cast iron skillet about the size of a tea/coffee saucer with over fried conglomeration of chunks that couldn't even be identified as rings, tentacles or whatever, especially since most the chunks were about the size of the crumbs you get with your fish and chips at Long John Silvers and tasted like a dead fish. Granddaughter got the endless salad bar for 12.99 and only ate one plate of it, since a bunch of stuff was out. Sweet tea was anything but sweet. Biggest waste of 67.00 (including tip) ever !!!! Think I am going to have to find another...

I hadn't been to a Ruby Tuesday's in atleast 15 years. I received a flyer in the mail and decided to give them a visit. I regret it.
After a long drive from Orlando to Zephyrhills, hungry with 3 kids... We waited 30 minutes to get sat while the restaurant was near empty! Then after finally getting sat, NO ONE acknowledged us at the table for atleast 15 minutes (what felt like an hour when you'rebeing ignored).
We stood up and walked by atleast 3 employees on our way outand not one asked if we were ok. I walked my family out and I walked back in to speak to the manager, who listened to what I had to say, apologized which was nice, but did not offer to take care of us right then and there and make salvage the experience.
Whoever is the DM is for this store, needs to really spend some time here and set expectations and follow up with training and prioritize respecting the guest's time. Coach your team. Start with the managers and have them be more involved at the host stand and in the dining room. Managers just be walking around identifying these areas of opportunities.
I have been a restaurant GM in multiple National brands for the past 13 years. If you need help with coaching and development, please contact me. I live for good customer service. You shouldn't have to buy your customers next visit. You should earn it with your wait time management, overall customer service and food quality.
Dont blame the host. Her service reflected leadership in the building...
