China Star — Restaurant in Zephyrhills

OMG!! This is my only go-to Chinese restaurant!! They have the BEST, HANDS DOWN, no lies, BBQ RIBS in all of Zephyrhills!! They're have LOTS of MEAT on the bone, so good!! 🤤😋 Their prices are a little bit higher than the other local Chinese restaurants, but WORTH EVERY DIME!! I love ribs, 🤣! I enjoy almost everything on the menu!! It's not a sit-down and dine in kind of place. There's a waiting area with tables and chairs if you want to sit inside while your food is being prepared... I love the family that owns it! They're so nice and friendly. The wifey speaks a little broken English, but she has IMPROVED A LOT since I've been going there. I admire her for learning English so quickly!! I highly recommend: fried dumplings, BBQ bone in Ribs, Crab Rangoons, Pork Lomein, egg rolls, Wonton Soup and the Hot and Sour Soup are our favorite!! If you’re disabled, and you cannot walk, and you have to have your food delivered China Star in Zephyrhills Florida Will not do right by you if your food is not what you ordered. How special lo mein is not cheap and they would not do right by me when I ordered today. Do you want me to bring it back? I had it delivered for a reason they would not have it delivered again to me. They wanted me to wait and then they would just put more meat on my next order well there’s not going to be a next order I wanted house special lo mein today and I did not get that. Tried my best to explain that to her there was no way she was going to make that right. This is my first experience having food at this spot. I did delivery. I got General Tsao chicken with shrimp fried rice. At first glance, it looked delicious, at first smell it was even better. The rice was cooked well, there were about 10 shrimp which were very plump and had that delicious smokey taste that I loved. I haven't had GS chicken since my NY days and it good. I mean it was crunchy and sweet, a good amount of sauce to eat with the rice but a tad too sweet for my taste but well made. I'd definitely go back for some more of their rice.
