Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Zephyrhills

To begin with, I like tropical smoothie. This location has been steadily declining though. After today's visit, I think I'll be going to another location. We ordered online and arrived a few mins early. So we expected a bit of a wait; however, we ended up waiting an additional 18 mins. There was only 1 other customer in the store. Maybe they had a lot of online orders. The wait wasn't a big issue though. The food and smoothies were easily some of the worst I have ever had. I ordered the peanut butter paradise with strawberries, it was just blended ice. Barely enough ingredients to give it any flavor at all. My wife ordered the Acai berry boost, same thing. Super lightly colored and 90% ice. Now, the food. I ordered a Baja chicken wrap. Exactly 3 pieces of chicken, 1 slice of onion, about a tablespoon of rice and packet with lettuce. All I could taste was the wrap and lettuce. Why didn't I send it back... it was a to go order. We didn't notice until we got home. Extremely disappointed in how poorly this location is doing nowadays. Maybe I'll revisit in a couple months to give it another shot. Until then, I recommend going to...

Went here for break, was a little worried with my last experiences as they havent been too good. But this time around, went and ordered a Hummus Wrap and a smoothie. I dont mean to be too picky, but i cant have dairy and i have a preference of my calorie intake. I asked to take off the beans, cheese, and ranch and add spinach. I got my first wrap and it was pretty bad. It was falling apart, there was bunch of ranch, no hummus and no spinach. Now i didnt want to be an ahole, but i went back and asked for it remade. I asked nicely, said it was screwed up, and bam. Got to the window, the kid made my food perfectly over again and now im all good- go back fueled up to my work. It does take forever and a lifetime for your food and smoothies to make it to the window, but if youre patient and kind, youll get what you need. If something is fked up, just go back and ask politely. Gave em a 2$ tip from my tips i earned while working. Maybe ill give this place another try with this good experience. Also, give the girl with the faded pink hair a raise. Helped me quick and i was out the drive thru...

I am a complete lover of this place. however my one issue is that Everytime I get a smoothie the exact smoothie it's a different price. And when the one time I decided to say something the refused to fix it. I think they need to train the staff better on either how to work the register or something because charged for the supplements that already come in the smoothie or being charged for Splenda instead of sugar is insane when it's not normally done. The staff is super sweet and the smoothies are great but it's not worth it if every time I get charged a different price and I'm scared to...
